UMNO which was founded in May 11, 1946 was initiated by the charismatic Dato Onn Bin Jaafar.Initially it was to uphold the aspirations of Malay nationalism and the dignity of race, religion and country.[2] The party also aspires to protect the Malay culture as the national culture and to uphold, defend and expand Islam.

But today after more than 50 years of absolute power, UMNO has become something of a laughing stock for the informed populace and the international community.Once it was revered by Malays as their saviour but now increasingly seen as an institution who silently betray its own people.

The biggest question that plays in every thinking mind, why after 52 years..the Malays are still left behind in terms of wealth. What had UMNO done with all the money the country garners from various sources. Where had the wealth gone.? A question that UMNO happily blames on the Non Bumis for unequal distribution of wealth.

But somehow the people beginning to realize, The UMNO controlled government, has not only fail to protect its own people but it also more than happy in keeping thenm in the dark on many sensitive matters.

Thru state owned and state controlled main stream media, the goverment systematically brainwash the public in creating racial tension. The media, lie, distort and distribute manufactured figures on economy dan other important aspect of governance.

The latest Bersih incident, proved how low the UMNO led goverment had sunk unto. The Bersih campaign was targeted to ensure corruption free election and UMNO deemed that as going against national aspirations and security. This is the greatest joke ever created and distributed by the Government. It also shows that UMNO is the biggest part of every corruption, manipulation and wrong doings so much so it has to protect itself from being scrutinized.

Thus we have a series of comedic statements from unstatesmanly characters. The people see UMNO as a sinking person who will do anything to grab hold onto something to stay alive.

The Malays deserves something better than UMNO, which will ensure their dignity and self respect being upheld.

Politicians better be wiser. Stop trying to measure up to the PAS spiritual leader's track record. And stop attempts to run him down.

Lately, there have been some errant politicians trying to get pot-shots at the leader of PAS - be it about the absurd sex-video or the sleazy sodomy trials, or on some religious issue.

They forget that Tok Guru is not a politician of their standard. In fact none can ever measure up to this saintly man. Look at the way he leads his life. Simplicity. Humility. Caring for the orphaned and destitute.

Listen to the way he speaks. Always so profound yet so simple. Young and old, learned and simpletons can relate with what he speaks.

Look at the way he lives. Look at his dwelling. Look at his official and unofficial car. Look at his attire. Look at his living and lifestyle as well as eating habits. And he has been consistently so for all our living memory.

Many people who took the trouble to meet this diligent, Gof fearing, Islam loving leader come away with awed and overwhelmed that they did not know that here is a senior veteran and head of a large political party who is so humble, simple, caring and without greed. Someone who respects all humanity despite their diferrent creeds.

Can any one of our politicians measure up to this man? No!

So stop trying to rake mud on this icon of inspiration in this contemporary and worldly environment. Stop throwing your cheap, tarnished, soiled and tainted political dares into the pathway of Tok Guru for you cannot even fall in the shadows of this man.

If anyine has any doubt about this great leader, then please pay him a visit in his homeground. You can be rest assured he will not C4 you. You can be guaranteed that he will not brush you aside with burly bodyguards. You do not even have to worry about what gifts to bear for he takes no bribes.

It is most unfortuante that Malaysians have had their eyes clouded, their ears deafened from getting to know, understand and appreciate a living legend who leads such a modest life despite being the leader of millions of followers.

Manchester United came to Blackburn to rain on Manchester City's parade, not produce a damp squib of their own, but until the softest of penalty decisions came to their rescue in the 73rd minute they were in danger of stealing a cue from their rivals and fluffing their lines. The 19th title duly arrived in the end, and although this was hardly the most stirring manner in which to clinch it, it seemed to suit United's strangely stuttering season. It will make no difference to the history books, or the United celebrations.

Blackburn spent the first 20 minutes struggling to get out of their own half, although it turned out they were just lulling their opponents into a false sense of security. No sooner had United been given the impression that all they had to do was use unlimited possession to break down a massed defence than Blackburn launched a few attacks of their own.

For all the visitors's early dominance the best chance they created was in the fourth minute when Nani put a header against the bar from Wayne Rooney's cross, yet despite Blackburn seeing much less of the ball they managed to make their rare upfield excursions count. Chris Samba had already scooped a shot over the bar and Jason Roberts just failed to take advantage of Tomasz Kuszczak's hesitation in dealing with a back pass by the time a decisive strike by Brett Emerton put the home side in front. Once again the substitute United goalkeeper looked nervous and uncertain, first failing to deal with Emerton's original cross then needlessly leaving his line in a vain attempt to recover the ball. Blackburn successfully prevented it from going out, then when Martin Olsson whipped in a low cross Emerton was still in position to sidefoot home with Jonny Evans unable to make an effective challenge.

No matter, there were still 70 minutes of the game left and plenty of time for the famous United cavalry charge, yet although the champions-elect stayed commendably calm and unhurried on going behind, Paul Robinson only had one save to make before the interval, tipping an effort from Javier Hernández round the post fairly comfortably. After an hour had passed without Robinson being asked to do much more, Sir Alex Ferguson responded to the United supporters's chant of "attack, attack attack" by sending on Paul Scholes for the disappointing Fábio da Silva and switching Antonio Valencia to right back. Scholes's first act was to kick Morten Gamst Pederesen up in the air, which was not the sort of attack Ferguson wanted to see, and neither was the Blackburn one that culminated in Olsson striking a post from Emerton's cross when a goal looked certain.

United got lucky in the end when Robinson rashly brought down Hernández to concede a hotly disputed penalty. There was little doubt the goalkeeper made contact with the Mexican rather than the ball, but that was largely because Hernández had all but knocked the ball dead and had little hope of reaching it.

It would be harsh to say he was playing for the penalty but he was certainly moving away from goal, and although technically the assistant Phil Dowd consulted was correct in affirming contact had taken place, one could fully understand the Rovers players's protestations.

Rooney scored emphatically from the spot to bring United level, and did his best to put the matter beyond doubt two minutes later with a perfect cross from which Nani somehow conjured a miss in front of goal.

Dog Who May Have Participated In Bin Laden Raid

Americans are fascinated by the anonymous U.S. Navy SEALs who daringly raided Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad, Pakistan compound this week, but one canine commando is attracting especially fervent interest.

According to the New York Times and the British tabloid The Sun, a military dog (not pictured) was strapped onto one of the assault team members as he was lowered out of a Black Hawk helicopter and began the operation that killed Osama.

Sadly, we know very little, and the Pentagon hasn't confirmed that a dog was even on the mission, much less release information about the canine's name or breed.

"Little is known about what may be the nation's most courageous dog," the Times' Gardner Harris writes. He speculates that the dog was most likely a German shepherd or a Belgian Malinois, since those are the breeds most often found in the military's 2,700-strong military dog program. (A new breed, however, is becoming popular with the troops. Labrador retrievers have begun to "wander off-leash 100 yards or more in front of patrols to ensure the safety of the route.")

The Pentagon and White House are keeping tight-lipped about the details of the operation, but that, of course, hasn't prevented commentators from speculating on the dog's role based on the functions of other war dogs in combat. "It's possible that the commandos brought a specialized search dog, which would have been sent in ahead of the humans to find explosives or people hidden inside the building," Slate's Brian Palmer writes. Or the dog could have been a "combat tracker"--canines who are specially trained to sniff out individuals and then follow their trail. Saddam Hussein was found in a hole under a hut--the assault team could have decided that they needed a good tracking dog in case bin Laden had a similar idea.

Dogs are increasingly important in America's combat operations abroad, and some have been outfitted with special (and adorable) "doggles" to protect their eyes, oxygen masks to protect their lungs as they parachute out with soldiers at high altitudes, and even waterproof vests that contain infrared cameras that transmit video back to servicemen watching a monitor yards behind them. Luckily for this courageous and anonymous furry creature, there is some precedent for war dogs receiving military honors. The Navy awarded a Silver Star in 2009 to a dog named Remco who gave his life charging "an insurgent's hide-out in Afghanistan," Harris writes. According to Foreign Policy, another dog named Eli fiercely guarded his Marine, Private First Class Carlton Rusk, after he was shot by Taliban sniper fire in Afghanistan. Rusk's bomb-sniffing dog would not even let fellow Marines approach the wounded Rusk, who did not survive the attack. Eli now lives with Rusk's family.

The dog's role was not mentioned in any of the public White House press briefings on bin Laden's death. Pentagon spokeswoman Elizabeth Robbins wrote in an e-mail to The Lookout in response to our question about the dog that the Pentagon has "no additional operational details, or comments on operational details, to make at this time."

Storm Over Osama's Sea Burial

Amid the hysterical celebrations over the killing of Osama bin Laden, an awkward question is starting to rear its head: Did U.S. policymakers err in burying the al Qaeda leader at sea?

Already, the decision has provoked criticism from some Islamic scholars, who say a maritime burial isn't in keeping with Muslim law. And there are signs that the move could help fuel skepticism, especially among President Obama's critics, about whether bin Laden was really killed at all.

The Pentagon has said the body was treated in accordance with traditional Islamic procedures--including washing the corpse--before it was placed in the waters of the northern Arabian Sea.

U.S. officials have said they wanted to avoid the al Qaeda leader's grave site becoming a shrine for his followers. They've also said it would have been difficult to find a foreign country willing to accept bin Laden's remains, especially in so short a time: Islamic tradition and practice call for the body of the deceased to be buried within 24 hours of death.

But several Muslim authorities said today that the sea burial in fact violated Muslim tradition--and warned that it could help trigger calls for revenge from militant Muslims.

The sea burial "runs contrary to the principles of Islamic laws, religious values and humanitarian customs," Sheik Ahmed al-Tayeb, the grand Imam of Cairo's al-Azhar mosque, told the AP.

And Mohammed al-Qubaisi, Dubai's grand mufti, echoed that view. "If the family does not want him, it's really simple in Islam: You dig up a grave anywhere, even on a remote island, you say the prayers and that's it."

He added: "Sea burials are permissible for Muslims in extraordinary circumstances," he added. "This is not one of them."

And Abdul-Sattar al-Janabi, who preaches at Baghdad's Abu Hanifa mosque declared: "It is not acceptable, and it is almost a crime to throw the body of a Muslim man into the sea," adding that the action "might provoke some Muslims."

But the religious verdict may not be quite that open and shut. Imam Shamsi Ali, of the Islamic Cultural Center of New York, told The Lookout that in emergency circumstances, any Islamic law can be overlooked. "For example, you're not allowed to eat pork," he said, but added that if you were starving to death, it would be considered acceptable. Ali said that because the United States appears to have been unable to find a country to take bin Laden's body within 24 hours, this might have qualified as such an emergency.

Islamic practices aside, the decision is already triggering conspiracy theories that cast doubt on whether bin Laden is truly dead--even though DNA testing is said to have confirmed with virtual certainty that the al Qaeda leader was indeed killed. An assertion by Pakistan's Taliban that bin Laden is still living was picked up on several users of the conservative website FreeRepublic.com. In addition, one writer on the Andrew Breitbart website Big Peace called for bin Laden's body to be"digitally scanned" so that Americans could verify his death for themselves. On Twitter, Emily Miller, an editor at the conservative Washington Times, demanded a photo of the body as "proof."

Skepticism could only increase in some quarters if the Obama administration declines to release photos of bin Laden's body. Obituary: Osama Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden came to the world's attention on 11 September 2001, when the attacks on the United States left more than 3,000 people dead and hundreds more injured.

In a matter of three years, the Saudi-born dissident had emerged from obscurity to become one of the most hated and feared men in the world.

Osama Bin Laden was born in 1957, apparently the 17th of 52 children of Mohamed Bin Laden, a multimillionaire builder responsible for 80% of Saudi Arabia's roads.

His father's death in a helicopter crash in 1968 brought the young man a fortune running into many millions of dollars, though considerably less than the widely published estimate of $250m

Mujahideen

While studying civil engineering at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Bin Laden came into contact with teachers and students of the more conservative brand of Islam.

Through theological debate and study, he came to embrace fundamentalist Islam as a bulwark against what he saw as the decadence of the West.

The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979 changed Bin Laden's life forever. He took up the anti-communist cause with a will, moving to Afghanistan where, for a decade, he fought an ultimately victorious campaign with the mujahideen.

Intelligence experts believe that the US Central Intelligence Agency played an active role in arming and training the mujahideen, including Bin Laden. The end of the war saw a sea change in his views.

Lucrative investments

His hatred of Moscow shifted to Washington after 300,000 US troops, women among them, were based in Saudi Arabia, home of two of Islam's holiest places, during the 1991 Gulf War against Iraq. Bin Laden vowed to avenge what he saw as blasphemy.

Along with many of his mujahideen comrades, he brought his mix of fighting skills and Islamic zeal to many anti-US factions within the Middle East.

American pressure ended brief sojourns in Saudi Arabia - which removed his citizenship in 1994 - and then Sudan, and Bin Laden moved back to Afghanistan in January 1996.

The country, in a state of anarchy, was home to a diverse range of Islamic groups, including the fundamentalist Taleban militia, which captured the capital Kabul nine months later.

Though geographically limited, Bin Laden's wealth, increasing all the time through lucrative worldwide investments, enabled him to finance and control a continuously shifting series of transnational militant alliances through his al-Qaeda network.

Sometimes he worked as a broker, organising logistics and providing financial support. At other times, he would run his own violent campaigns.

In February 1998, he issued a fatwa - or religious edict - on behalf of the World Front for Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders, stating that killing Americans and their allies was a Muslim duty.

'Most wanted'

Six months later, two bombs rocked the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. Some 224 people died and nearly 5,000 were wounded. He was indicted as chief suspect, along with 16 of his colleagues.

Almost overnight, Bin Laden became a major thorn in the side of America. A byword for fundamentalist Islamic resistance to Washington, he soon appeared on the FBI's "most wanted" list, with a reward of up to $25m on his head.

The US fired 75 sea-launched cruise missiles into six training camps in eastern Afghanistan in a failed attempt to kill him. They missed their target by just one hour.

As well as the African bombings, Bin Laden was implicated in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York, a 1995 car bomb in the Saudi capital Riyadh and a truck bomb in a Saudi barracks, which killed 19 US soldiers.

"I always kill Americans because they kill us," he said. "When we attack Americans, we don't harm other people."

In the case of the bombs in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, his words rang hollow. The vast majority of the dead and injured were African, not American.

The arrogance of wealth saw Bin Laden make the government of Kazakhstan a multi-million dollar offer to buy his own tactical nuclear weapon.

It comes as no surprise, then, that both the US and Israel are believed to have sent assassination squads after him.

Cult status

Then came the events of 11 September 2001. Two hijacked aircraft smashed into, and destroyed, the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York.

Another aircraft ploughed into the Pentagon in Washington and a fourth crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Altogether more than 3,000 people died in the attacks, which led to the US-led operation against the Taleban.

Allied forces moved into Afghanistan late in 2001. At the time, it was believed that Bin Laden might have been killed during the battle for the Tora Bora cave complex.

In reality, he had slipped across the border into Pakistan, a country in which he achieved the sort of cult status usually reserved for pop stars or film actors.

In February 2003, an audio tape, purporting to be of Bin Laden, was delivered to the al-Jazeera television company.

Of the impending US-led invasion of Iraq, the voice said: "This crusaders' war concerns, first and foremost, all Muslims, regardless of whether the Iraqi socialist party or Saddam remain in power.
"All Muslims, especially those in Iraq, should launch a holy war."

Careful timing

The last known sighting of Bin Laden by anyone other than his very close entourage remains in late 2001 as he prepared to flee from his Tora Bora stronghold.

He was widely assumed to have travelled east, across into Pakistan to be given hospitality and shelter by certain local Pashtun tribesmen loyal to the Taleban and opposed to their own government led by President Pervez Musharraf.

hunt for Bin Laden took a dramatic turn with the arrest in Pakistan, in 2003, of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

The head of al-Qaeda's operations and the suspected mastermind of the Twin Towers attack, it seemed as though the net had begun to close in on Bin Laden himself.

A major offensive to capture Bin Laden was launched by the Pakistani army along the Afghan border in May-July 2004.

But a year later, Mr Musharraf admitted the trail had gone cold.

Though al-Qaeda has been prolific in issuing audio messages, often on the internet and featuring the network's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, videos of Bin Laden himself have been rare.

His appearances have been carefully timed and aimed, analysts say, at influencing Western public opinion by driving a wedge between citizens and their leaders.

One such video was issued in 2004 - the same year as the Madrid bombings - and days before the US election.

A second surfaced as the sixth anniversary of the 11 September attacks approached, timed to quell rumours that he had been dead for some time.

To his supporters, Bin Laden was a fighter for freedom against the US and Israel, not, as he was to many in the West, a terrorist with the blood of thousands of people on his hands.

With Syria’s minority Shiite Alawite government overseeing a majority Sunni population, its strategic location and its web of alliances including the radical Hamas and Hezbollah movements, regime change could look a lot more like it did in Iraq than in Egypt — and the ramifications could prove even more profound.

“If the regime collapses you will have civil war and it will spread throughout the region,” engulfing Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and beyond, said Hilal Khashan, professor of political science at the American University of Beirut. “A collapse of the Syrian regime is a doomsday scenario for the entire Middle East.”

No Matter Who Wins; Rakyat Are The True Winners

This has been the most exciting week so far this year. It doesnt matter who wins, the most important thing is the people has been empowered. Due to the strong opposition presence, YB's who were so arrogant before were made to beg like crazy. Gone are the days where they come, they see and they give rm 20. Now they plead like they are hanging from the last knot of the rope. They beg as if their life is depending on it. Now they realize that they have to work for the salary they are getting and they have to do more than mere lip service.

Today. Victory will be claimed by the party that garnered the most votes, but the true winners are the rakyat of Sarawak as there never has been such a political awakening before. The people have raised the benchmark of politics and there is no turning back. Be it BN or Pakatan, from now on they have to serve the people, they have to please the people and they have to respect the people, or else the people will teach them a cruel lesson the next time around.

To all the candidates, politicians, NGOs , Bloggers and activists who made this election such a meaningful one, you have put up one bloody good fight. And there is one more thing to do..keep your eyes open for any irregularities.

Part 3 : Sarawak , can be it saved?

Now for the most important and delicate matter of getting the rural votes. Not to belittle the urban votes, but the rural votes are the one which actually will decide; two third or not. To start with, these are the BN friendly areas, and to make inroad is not easy. You should never ever barge into a long house and start selling your agenda.

To win their votes, you need to win their minds, to win their minds you need to win their heart, to win their heart you should be in it. The village people are the friendliest lot, they are warm, hospitable but do not offend them in any way by being arrogant or ignorant.

Anyone who aspire to become a YB in rural areas, get their party to endorse so that one can make the long journey into the heart of rural folks. Meet them every 4 months the minimum, just drop by to see if they are ok. Get some fund from party..its after all 4 months once.. and don't go empty handed.. Get something for the folks and kids.. Sit with them, eat with them and listen to their animated conversation while slowly sipping the drinks.

Dont ever try to potray that you know more, speak if it is really necessary and they love good humorous exchanges without insulting anyone. Many old people dont get to see their children often if they are working else where..but the aspiring YB's can drop by and show that they too care.

If there is a village function or death, just attend. A regularly seen face is a welcome face. If the aspiring YB's can meet them every four months in a year and 16 times in four years.. you will become their favourite son yang tak sombong. What ever you do..be sincere and let it be seen in your behaviour.

Once they start liking you, pleading for vote will be easier. Always remember that the people are the most precious thing and you should serve them with integrity. Start now and may be BN can be given a run for its money in the next election.

For now, only their children can make the difference by returning home and making close door persuasion. Please return and change their heart and that will be the biggest service you have done to the land of your birth.

Part 2 : Sarawak can it be saved ?

Its interesting to see some reaction to my earlier posting.. which was hijacked conveniently.

One thing is very evident, the mental state of some people, where they just wanna join in to shout without even knowing what are they shouting about is empirically sketched in their words. Its a classic act of Taibs loyal "chiens". ha..ha.. They say its an insult to mention that Sarawak is the second poorest state in the nation. Thats the world bank's finding for 2011. They should be angry with the states administration for dragging Sarawak to this level..instead these few Taib's "cane" lash out at whistle blowers. So now we know who are the traitors of their own people.

My friends and I, not bothered if these Taib's loyal "perros" are angry or not. We don't care what traitors say. We only care for the "peoples right". They have the right to demand and not beg. They have the right to live a dignified life just like others.

First..when i read thru the comments, it clearly show that they didn't even understand what it meant and worst what is actually being discussed there. This could partly because of our education system that churns out students and graduates with limited proficiency in English or worst with little ability to grasp, process, understand, evaluate and justify rationally.

If they want to jump sky high and scream till shit drops out of their stink hole, i understand.. as in Malay they say "siapa yang makan cili..dia yang terasa pedas". That article , just like other "Rakyat Bloggers" article meant to safe guard the interest of people. It is meant to tell the people that they have a place in the development that is by passing them.

But if some Taib loyalist 'cobaka" want to hijack that article and say..Sarawakians being insulted, then there are no greater fools and traitors than these miserable nincompoops. Now this is the actuall insult : Taibs loyal "qens", Go ahead and lick Taib's balls all you want and you can even lick his ass.. but dont expect whole of Sarawak to do the same. Let the people live with dignity , self respect and honour.

For the people of Sarawak, the election may go either way.. but the most important thing is you let the politician work for you, and the bright and brave young people out there.. enlighten the rural folks of what is actually happening. Once they have both side of the story..it will be a good informed decision.

It doesn't matter who wins.. but people must be allowed to hear both side of the argument. When people are able to make decision without being threaten, blackmailed or even intimidated..thats true victory and thats what democracy is all out about..until then; God save Sarawak.

Before I start, let me tell you that I love the people of Sarawak (Ibans and all other dayaks included)very much as they are the most wonderful and amazing people that one will ever meet. So it hurts so much that these nice people were taken for a ride by the powers to be and they don't even realisethat.

Sarawak, can it be saved?The answer is an overwhelming 'NO". Not in 50 years the People of Sarawak will have a comfortable and prosperous life like their peninsular counterparts. Why..? Well.. there are many educated Sarawakians who wake up to call of cleansing their state by eradicating cronysm and misgovernance which resulted in Sarawak being the 2nd poorest state in Malaysia. But there are also equal amount of young ones..who think that its ok for the Government to steal and cheat big time.

Why we have people, ( some of them are University graduates ) who are not really bothered about the people of Sarawak as the whole is still a mystery . Are they so blind that they can't see a thing..or are they blindly loyal that they don't care what happens to the state..

For some of them..as long as they are able to enjoy beers in airconditoned pub. thats prosperity and peace. Do they know that even the remotest public toilet in Peninsular Malaysia has running water but half an hour from Seri Aman or Betong the people of long houses are collecting rain water to drink . Electric? Thats a distance dream.

Some even say..that so far the opposition had not done anything? How stupid that can be? For the past 48 years..the people had selected the " present" goverment over and over, election after election..and with that, giving them all the goverment machineries including salary to serve them. So why blame the opposition for not helping.. as they have no control of any of the government agencies or the billions of fund that the state get.

And the saddest part is..these so called educated people keep telling that only BN can help as they are the ones who built the roads..ohh.. for God's Sake isn't that why they are selected in the first place. To serve. To work to dedicate their life to the people who elected them. So why say they "Help". Only God helps us because he owns you and I and he can choose to help or not. Politician are our servant..they must work..and after 48 years..this is the result we have, "The second poorest state IN the entire God damn country". In any other country they would have been sacked or sent home packing.

Yet here in Sarawak , some still think only BN can save them. God Bless Sarawak.

It looks like BN is full of premature idiots like this who just wanted to say something so that people will know that they (BN politician) and diapers should be regularly changed for the same reason. Do you remember the picture above when he explained what his lewd sign is all about.

Wise man talk because they have something to say, fools because they have to say something. Now, can anyone get a gag order for this moron before he convinces the world that Malaysian men are dimwits .

For God's sake, how can BN even consider this man as a candidate after his "bocor" remark in his previous jesterical saga. Not to mentioned that he eloped with an actress and got married without his wife's (only legal wife at that time) knowledge. What kind of man he is if he can't even be true and honest with his own wife and BN wanted us to have him as our leader.

If BN seriously consider of getting even with the opposition, they must first get rid some of the nincompoops that they have in their band wagon.

Stay Clear Of Nuclear

Aaahhh..its nice to be back after such a long hiatus.. A self imposed ban from blogging , a personal tragedy and the biggest comedy show of all on earth : The Malaysian Politics made me stay away from blogs. Tell me ..how many of you really felt like throwing up when reading statesments from politicians. Goshh .. I nearly had a heart attack.

What really made me write again is the nuclear talk. Pheww..the gomen is really adamant on these. Well bright sparks.. in other countries where they have nuclear power plants.. they never blamed it on God when there is a mishap. Only in our country we see .. every landslide, flash flood and even road cracks are concluded as the act of God and no one even take responsibility or resign.

The elevated highway called MRR2 had more cracks than Samy Velu once had hair..(oppss..that was before he replanted) and now the elevated highway is wrapped up in a space age net,.(yap..you read it right NET) , the roof of a stadium collapsed and the same guy got a manmmoth contract again.. to put a roof over a VVVVIP resident and the list go on and on..

You see..these unaccountability that we are famous for is what making me shit in my pants when I heard our gomen is sooo keen in building nuclear power plants. God.. who is gonna man it. Never mind..we can afford to send 2000 people to be trained in the USSR . You mean the really qualified ones,, ? What quality..? Well if these 2000 meritless qualifiers fail to complete the training. dont worry.. we can always choose substitute from reallity programmes where the public will choose the ones they like via sms..

Muhyiddin, if you really put your money where your mouth is, why don't you build exclusive homes for all our cabinet ministers ( PM and DPM included) around the nuclear plant to prove that it is safe indeed.

Bukankah ini menjatuhkan kewibaan dan kesucian bangsa Melayu lebih dari lagu Namawee. Sudah tiba masanya untuk anda semua di PERKASA untuk membuktikan bahawa anda semua apolitical ( tidak berpihak pada sesiapa dalam politik) dengan mengajurkan tunjuk perasaan besar besaran bagi mengembalikan maruah Melayu . Its going to take sometime to wipe the smile out of BN's face. Oh come on. Its a hard fought victory and who would not revel in it. After all the hard (cash) work, after all the media blitz , after all the Bumi to langit promisses and never to forget the ugutan that folowed the promisses... aiiyaa they deserve to win. Let them maaa.... Let them smile all they want.

So the chieftain concluded.."They ground had shifted...." huhhhh.. This is a cause for concern. My dear Dato Seri Najib, please allow me to disagree with you. I know you said it in a spur of moment..but if you look back at it.. the ground remained solid after the 2008 GE.

No matter how you define it..( a win still is win ) but the ground did not shift at all. Now you may be drunk with all the euphoria but let the dust settle first and look through a clearer mind. Then you will realize that you have nincompoops for election advisors.

The only time the ground shifted, it was in 2008 election when PKR won with a razor thin majority of 198. It was 14 483 in 2004 in favour of BN. Now the question is..where are those people now. If the equation has shifted the way you imagine it.. your majority should not be anything less than 14 000 votes.

And i really pity you. You are so jubilant by the victory even your penis can play flute but the sad truth is..you are no where near the pre 2004 strength. Worst still its the pakatan team which had the ground shifted right under your feet.

Sir, do you realize how easy it is to win back the hearts minds of the sulking voters. You don't have to spend millions to engage expensive image designers.. you don't have to hire shrewed think tank and strategist. All you have to do is.. think for your self. Ask yourself why everyone loves a hero in a movie. It doesn't matter what socio level the people are from, they will love a hero of a movie. Why?

Because he is a good man ( or woman) A true hero is someone who is always play by the rule, a person who respects his opponent and give him a fair chance to fight, How many times we have seen the hero allowed the villains to pick up the sword from the ground before continuing the fight.

These fair play quality will win many hearts and mind. Unless if you are really sure that you can't win in straight fight and had to resort to all the evil ways.. then you will forever be the villain.

In view of the recent events concerning the Orang Asli, I am compelled to write this letter to testify personally to the difficult situations encountered by the Orang Asli in Peninsular Malaysia.

My friends and I belong to a group of volunteers who have been visiting the interior of Pahang to provide basic healthcare and medical assistance to the Orang Asli over the last six years wherever we can. What we have seen and heard was heartbreaking.

Technically, health clinics have been set up across the country, including the state of Pahang, to provide healthcare services and basic medical assistance to the Orang Asli. In truth, however, most of these clinics have long been abandoned or are unmanned. The reason being, medical officers who have been assigned to these clinics never turn up for work at these clinics. At the same time, these same medical officers continue to claim payments and salaries for services which they have not rendered at these health clinics.

I remember an incident where a pregnant Orang Asli woman had to walk to a trunk road from her village at the edge of a forest to seek medical help. She was going into labour and there was no one in her village who was able to help her.

The 'tok batin' (title of the head of an Orang Asli village) told us, later on, that the health clinic at their village had been abandoned for a number of years because the medical officers assigned to the clinic had refused to turn up for work. As a result, this pregnant Orang Asli woman died on her way to the trunk road. This incident took place a few days before our arrival.

In our dialogues at a number of Orang Asli villages over the years, we were told that medical officers routinely refused to treat or work with the Orang Asli because they are of the opinion that the Orang Asli are a 'dirty' and 'filthy' people and therefore are not worthy of any help or assistance.

On another incident, we took an Orang Asli to a government hospital in a town in Pahang for treatment for problems related to hypertension and nearly had his medications thrown at his face. This doctor was unaware that my friend, who is a medical specialist from a hospital in KL, and I were waiting outside the consultation room. When we were told of the rude incident, my friend and I decided to confront this doctor for an explanation. Only then was the Orang Asli man given proper information about his prescription.

During a recent monsoon season where flood waters had nearly devastated an Orang Asli village, no one turned up to provide any form of relief or assistance to the villagers. Eventually, a small consignment of rice was sent to the village by the state government.

The rice was left at the home of the 'tok batin' who refused to distribute the rice to the rest of the villagers. The 'tok batin' claimed to be an Umno member, therefore, he was untouchable and could do as he pleased. Some villagers told us later on that the rice was never distributed and were sold to a third party.

Our team managed to transport about two dozen bags of rice to be distributed to the villagers. One of the villagers, a widow already weakened by hunger, succumbed to a fatal asthmatic attack while taking a bag of rice back to her hut. At her funeral that evening, our team was overwhelmed by a deep sense of desperation. Till today, a number of us in the team are still haunted by this tragic event.

Tragic incidences like these are just the tip of an iceberg. Land belonging to the Orang Asli, especially those in the lowland, are often leased out to oil palm plantation companies. In return, each Orang Asli household gets a small 'rental income' of up to RM500 per month on an average. Here again, this is at the discretion of the 'tok batin'. This 'income' is sometimes withheld from households that are widowed or orphaned. Largely illiterate, these widows and orphans have no legal recourse to claim their entitlement and are left to fend for themselves.

Furthermore, oil palm plantations sometimes destroy the Orang Asli home ground by allowing excessive fertilisers and pesticides to pollute the environment and to destroy nearby rivers. These are the same oil palm plantations which made promises of employment to the Orang Asli before the first planting but which usually reneged on their promises.

Indonesian workers are favoured over the Orang Asli. The main reason stated by oil palm plantation owners is that Indonesian workers are more reliable as the Orang Asli have a problem with alcoholism and do not turn up for work when required. Interestingly, some Orang Asli have found it easier to get jobs in Singapore than back home in Malaysia.

Alcoholism and drug addiction among the Orang Asli are serious social problems among the younger Orang Asli. Aids/HIV is next. Marginalised by much of society and government policies, many young Orang Asli turn to drugs and alcohol to vent their anger and frustration. Most of the Orang Asli drop out of school by the time they reached Form 2.

While some hostels are provided at some secondary schools for the Orang Asli, the Orang Asli students are often told that they must convert to Islam if they want to pursue further education at the schools. Caught between a rock and a hard place, some Orang Asli students comply while others just slip through the cracks. The Orang Asli are basically animistic in their religious beliefs. Any other religion is a hard sell with the Orang Asli.

Concerning the Orang Asli Affairs Department, the JHEOA, itis becoming more like an extended Islamic affairs department than an Orang Asli affairs department. The unwritten policy of the JHEOA seems to be to proselyte and convert the Orang Asli to Islam. For example, if an Orang Asli village needs to build a community hall but is lacking the resources to do so, they can approach the JHEOA.

However, the Orang Asli must provide an undertaking that the community hall must double-up as a 'surau' before any approval is given. I have been told personally by two 'tok batins' that they will be paid RM100 to RM200 as a reward for every Orang Asli converted to Islam in their respective villages.

I have seen more 4WDs in the Klang Valley with the JHEOA logo painted on their doors in the than in the state of Pahang over the last isx years. Can someone in the JHEOA enlighten me on this? To me, the JHEOA had long outlived its purpose.

Finally, the problems facing the Orang Asli must be dealt with quickly and in a humane manner. Sweeping the dirt under the carpet is not going to make it all go away. The denial mentality among our politicians must be arrested. The Orang Asli are facing the real risk of extinction as a people. To deny otherwise is nothing more than a systematic act of genocide.

So say it clearly and sincerely. Huhh..sincerely? That part is the hardest..he..he.. So how do we have an effective communication? That depends on, who are we asking. If one asks a politician, he will say "lies" will make great speech and make any conversation interesting.

Why not? Remember Mahathir and his bersih , cekap and amanah slogan? He bersihkan khazanah, cekap in repressing the truth ( he doesnt even admit that he is an indian) and amanah to all his cronies.. Followed by our sleeping beauty PM Abdullah Badawi with his cemerlang , gemilang and terbilang shout. Now he sudah hilang. Now we have One Malaysia, and everyone know its (g)one Malaysia. Ok..ok..ok.. i agree i digress...

When you talk make yourself heard without shouting, interrupting or talking over others, Say what you think and how you feel without hurting others feeling. Check out the do's and don'ts below.

Aiiyooo this Anuar feller punya isu make my kepla pusing maaa. Now i know why the government is scared of Anuar.

Why not? He is the only person in this entire universe who can "kongkek buntut" (fuck the butt : sorry for the language) without even penetrating it. So Najib must be so scared that its his anal is the next one going to be Anuar's "Kongkek Ghaib" victim.

Pembatalan Pindaan kepada Penggal Persekolahan 2010

This post should have been titled "The Land Of the "U" Turns". Well if you had thought that the era of you turns had gone with Tun Badawi, sorry mate..its here to stay. Its even getting better and faster. Adeiii thambi "more e dean" (so many "e's no wonder very bad dean) apa sudah jadi?

First they make a wrong turn.. by missing the Gawai and Keamatan Festival by one week.. After that they made a great "U" turn and sent out circulars to all the schools in Malaysia stating that the Education Ministry is honouring the request from Sabah and Sarawak community .

How I was overjoyed by that delightful stroke of genius. But wait,,hardly after 3 weeks of reprive came a circus of circular. They made another fantastic "U" turn. (Even our sleeping beauty Mr. U turn Pak Lah would have been impressed). And this time no reason were given for going into that wrong turn again. ( I guess sudah tak respect masyarakat Sabah dan Sarawak lagi kot)...

One wrong turn followed by two "U" turns means you are back in the wrong place isn't it. Now who is going to tell this to the (No) Education Ministry.

What is all the fuss about?

(Below is a letter taken from Malaysia today. Thank you Penagboi)

My close friend who is a teacher in a kebangsaan school had first hand experience at such a BTN brainwashing session. She and a host of teachers were all sent to a campus where they had to listen to lectures given by BTN officials.

And the contents of the lectures were all about how the Malays must always considered as more superior than other races because they other non-Malays are pendatangs. The non-Malays are in Malaysia due to the largesse of the Malays.

She likened the lecture-style and delivery very much to the way imams carry out their sermons during Friday prayers. Lots of shouting and angst. The whole experience was so repulsive that some of the Malay cikgus had to leave the lecture hall, and some even broke down and cried after listening to the pure propagandas.

I have always highlighted this Hitler-style brainwashing. There are very strong parallels between Hitler's championing of the Aryan race vs the others, and UMNO's championing of the Malay race vs non-Malays.
But when I start telling this to friends and relatives they all found it too far-fetched to believe.

So, I am very glad that MT and RPK in particular, are focusing on this very despicable policy of UMNO/BN. The very fact that BTN is under the PM's department is proof that such racist indoctrination is a very important policy of UMNO/BN.

It is again one of the many proofs of what a liar the government is when they say one thing and does another. 1Malaysia indeed!!!!

Please remember also that BTN has been operating for a very very long time, since Mamakutty's time, and definitely during Sleepyhead Bodohwi's time, and now under Najis it is still very alive and active.

BTN should be another reason why UMNO/BN has to go. We don't want racism to be an official policy of Malaysia.

I think after the local 'road show' Pakatan should continue on to turning it into an international road show.

I just came back from watching this movie and it is hot. Real hot.

Aaaaaahhhh..let me wipe my sweat first... This is not easy.. Have you heard the story of Noah's Ark? Well i guess you had. Take that and add another few more arks, put in them the richest and influential people in it. Its all top secret untill a father found out that the world is coming to an end and how he and his family gets to the top secret ark is the story.

"We're all gonna die!"

In 2012, the mother of all disaster movies, this be-all, end-all of clichés – best when shrieked at the top of one's lungs – must be uttered to make the experience complete. And, on that, we're not disappointed.
Nor is the epic nature of the cataclysm left wanting as the mayhem is dialed up to massive proportions in this end-of-days extravaganza. Believe me Emerich had my jaw dropping several time.Thou i really dislike the exhaust pipes of the arks. ( Check it out ok..)

The movie is an undeniable visual spectacle, but just as unequivocally a cheesy, ridiculous story.

Computer-generated scenes of the world falling apart are both impressive and awstriking. We see such iconic images as the Washington Monument toppling, Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer statue taking a dive, and St. Peter's Basilica crumbling. The Himalayas take a hit from a jet, and Los Angeles' freeways collapse faster than you can say gridlock.

The global obliteration is associated with the end and restarting of the Maya calendar and widespread solar flares. While a few characters throw around jargon, the science is murky. But science is hardly the point.

At the heart of the story is Jackson Curtis (John Cusack), a failed novelist, father of two and ex-husband of Kate (Amanda Peet). He must band together with them and his wife's new beau (Tom McCarthy) for a harrowing plane ride from Los Angeles to Yellowstone, where he consults Charlie (Woody Harrelson), a conspiracy crackpot. Director Roland Emmerich (The Day After Tomorrow) is said to have spent $260 million on this array of catastrophic images. But the story is beside the point, and the protracted ending is anti-climactic.

But if you're looking for earthquakes that outpace the Richter scale, tsunamis that swallow land masses and smoke that obliterates national parks, this is that movie.
It's a global demolition derby. And, at more than 2 1/2 hours if you are just looking for pure entertainment..this is the movie of the year.

Education Ministry Screwing up 1 Malaysia Concept ( big time)

Hi guys and gals, im back after a long long break.. three months to be exact... You know when many things occure before we could write about it. something even more funnier will happen.

Now,when was the last time you saw, a Barisan Nasialan (opps.. i mean Nasional) Boss screwing up another Barisan Boss... And the Best part is Najib is the one who get screwed up this time.

You know how our "Cherry Lip Man" (sorry! you are wrong. He is not related to cicak man) came burst into the scene with his 1 Malaysia slogan and songs. Yap Im talking about Najib. He screams One Malaysia till his ball boils in his pants but his deputy is doing just the opposite to make sure that people really feel that they are not a part of Malaysia.

Im refering to the 2010 School calender where the mid semester holidays are starting in the second week and not in the first week as usuall. This affectively pour cold water on Gawai and Harvest festivals and on the notion that Sarawakians and Sabahans are also a mainstream component of a country called Malaysia.

Lets look at it this way. There are thousands of families cant go back to their native states ( Air Asia and MAS will be more than happy to let know the exact number) and many had already booked their tickets . East Malaysian ( as sometimes they are refered to) teachers are also in a limbo over this new arrangement.

How this can screw up Barisan Nasional ? This Muhidin Yassin ministry just succesfully gave out unlimited ammunition to the opposition in states. Now they are smiling for the favour done by Muhidin Yassin and probably build him a monument.

Come on guys (Barisan Nasional leaders) its a public secret that you guys are not so intelligent but dont go around showing it like this. What the ministry had in its mind when they shifted the semester holidays..? NUTs????

The most appropriate thing to do now is damage control which you guys seems to bundle in and out shamelessly. So try this.. "Sebenar nya tiada masalah dalam struktur percutian . Ia adalah kesilapan juru taip dan ia nya akan di perbetulkan." And the people will believe and forget that you guys screwed up.

I refer to the alarming surge in Influenza A(H1N1) deaths in the country. It is time for the government to consider declaring it a national health emergency.

All attention and resources should be geared towards stopping this deadly pathogen from spreading further.Politicians from both sides of the divide should immediately drop all their antics and join forces with the authorities to safeguard the population from falling victims to this deadly bug.

Only a national health emergency declaration will jolt people to the seriousness of the situation.The recent World Health Organisation (WHO) forecast that hundreds may die from A(H1N1) infection in the country is indeed frightening.

The number of deaths reported daily the last couple of days appears to substantiate the WHO forecast.The Ministry of Health is doing its best, but it is not enough for a situation of this nature. It must to advise the government to declare a national health emergency.

Time is of essence here. Do we need to have one hundred people dead before we declare a national health emergency?

Nak tunngu apa lagi...walaupun ada desakan dari pelbagai pihak untuk menutup sekolah lebih awal dari cuti yang telah di tetapkan, tapi pihak kementerian pendidikan, masih lagi berdegil tidak mahu dengar.

Hujung tahun terdapat cuti 12 belas minggu, bawa je lah seminggu ke cuti bulan Ogos ni..So dengan cara itu.."hari belajar" tidak terjejas.. Kalau dulu mereka boleh buat perkara sama untuk berhari raya, kenapa tidak boleh untuk perkara yang sebegini serious.

Jika ada pelajar sekolah yang meninggal kerana dijangkiti HINI dari sekolah, maka Menteri Pelajaran dan Kementerian harus di pertanggung jawabkan..

The Other Side Of The Story

Many were baffled by the out come of Manik Urai by election result. Read the article below for alternative views.

Armchair warriors who wrote comments on the Manik Urai by-election sitting comfortably from their study rooms based on information that they skimmed through the Internet at best hit the outer ring of the target if not missing hitting the board at all! It is interesting to note that many did simply just that -- write from afar basing their opinions on those who make a living on writing news.

I was there smack in the middle of the war, espionages and counter-strikes. And BN has never been dirtier.

The amount of money that changed hands with voters was simply unbelievably high that almost every household can have a one-month holiday to savour their fortune. Only the Almighty knows the extent of their guilt and no mortal soul can claim that what they did was immoral, as nobody knows who voted for whom, at least for most of us that is.

It is amazing what money can buy. Maybe RM50 per voter did not work anymore but RM500 hooked even the very hearts that loathe corruption. They reason in their heads that it was a gift and hence free from any sin whatsoever associated with it. It was a meagre sum to the haves but a windfall to the haves-not. For a household with three voters, they took home a month’s equivalent of a wage.

But in a climate of distrust alternative plans were laid in abundance. Coming from multiple sources, voters were spoilt for bounties. Some walked away with three sets of gifts each giving a person’s take-home present of RM1,500. All one had to do was to wait for the go-between to approach him or her. It was a case of supply outstripping demand.

Keeping people (read voters) at poverty level and on the brink of starvation almost always pays in the end. They can easily be bought. After all it is not often such a by-election comes their way. Opportunity comes-a-knocking, it is a gift from above.

RM500 per voter was at most RM5Million. Considering three sources each armed with RM10Million, a total of RM30Million were spent with RM15Million going directly to voters and the rest as usual fall off the gravy trains into the hands of local warlords.

The majority of the people were veiled by beauty of dough and sweet smell of the ringgit and simply cast aside wafer thin belief in favour of worldly reward. Greed and selfishness are traits of human beings that will inevitably surface when income is scarce and food is hard to come by. BN knows this very well since their very existence and struggle is about nothing but money.

Analysts are coming out with a host of reasons for PAS’s dismal performance or BN’s success in gaining more territories. Some attributed BN’s “success” to Najib’s 11 points reward to people for allowing him to remain up to 100 days in power and also his “contributions” to economic excitement. I want to simply say “Bollocks”. This is what the BN think-tank would like us the public to believe. But if they themselves believe the spin as well, it spells disaster for them comes the 13th general election. We wait patiently for that day to arrive!

PAS and PR as a whole must not buy the argument that BN is gaining ground as a whole. However, the opposition cannot simply brush it aside either. BN has the “Money” part or access to it with little effort. But in the long run, tycoons’ and “taipans’” patience are running thin and coffers are running dry. If the economy that is very much in need of tending were left to roam in the wilderness, come the 13th GE, BN rats will scuttle to hide in their holes.

The best part of this whole episode is that BN still lost despite all these brilliant manoeuvrings. Chinese people say luck is not on BN’s side. The British may call it lady luck chooses an opposing side. But Muslims say that it is an intervention from above, divine and oft-punishing.

BN simply cannot afford to continue this method in a general election or even a state election. Perak will prove to be a situation best kept as it is. By not seeking a fresh mandate BN can sit pretty at least for a little while until the 13th general election. It will bring little harm but it will not remove the bigger problem of impending defeat. A defeat it will be, albeit a delayed one.

BN desperately needs a reversal of fortunes. It is, however, proven to be very elusive. When BN refuses to accept that their way is the wrong way, their struggle is not a genuine struggle, and that the people can no longer be hoodwinked, what choice do they have but to go back to the old drawing board. Again they have to lay another plan. They plan and Allah also plans; and He is the Best of Planner!

Language-switch policy scrapped

Language switching is a very interesting topic apart from switching parties. When Mahathir first mooted the idea of teaching Maths and science in English, all the ball cariers (including suckers) jumped from trees to say it is the most brilliant idea that mankind ever thought of. At that time, the opponents of the policy are considered anti progressive. So every adun, member of parliament and their maids as well jumped in to a frenzy celebration of new language policy.

The same group now says. things that the opponents said few years ago..only that the nation is few billion ringgit poorer now due to that language switching. The lost of the nation is someones gain.. Dont ask me who?

Put that a side. Some say we can produce better grads by teaching science and maths in English. It seems they will have better command. Aiiya..people, you jokers never understand one thing, you must take in deserving undergrad to get quality grad out put. You plant cacti and expect for durians..mana boleh? Many of the deserving people are left on the streets and you take in the second and third stringers who are not suppose to be there in the first place.

Do you think this second stringers going to be world renowned scientist Or do you expect them to present papers in the gallery of intellectuals. Please...read the letter below to witness what have our education standard has come to.. So be it English or Malay, if you gonna take in only the non deserving ones.. its not going to make any difference except politically.

As a teacher, i personally think we should switch but only after we fully trained the teachers to handle the subject competently.

Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen... a preview

Its was early October 2008 when i first heard that there's gonna be a sequel to the most astonishing movie i have ever seen, "The Transformers" .(Read my preview on that). From that day on I was diligently searching in the net for images and stories about this sequel. So when the moment finally came to watch the movie, one can understand the spasmic excitement that i was going through.

Ok.. forget about the melodrama intro above and get cracking. How was the movie..? Ohhh I wish they never made this sequel..( I wanted to love this movie as much as you guys want to) but there was a dejavu feeling all round. In the first one ..the sheer magic of CGI and the histronic ability of Michael Bay, turned the whole thing into a memorable affair. But this new product.. gives nothing new. No.. not that we expect megatron and optimus prime run around a tree and sing songs like Hindi movies, it never go any where from the previous attempt.

After a while you get a feeling the actions are strecthed from the older movie and that the robots are not a convincing addition. its just like a new porch to an old house. The faulty aircond and the hot action beside me, by a young couple (how could they; in a warm cinema hall) didn't help the situation either.

After the movie ended, i walked to my car with my head hanging low, wondering what went wrong with the movie. i cant say it for definite..but something was not really right with. Watch for yourself..and tell me if I am correct.

In the last film, the Bot-Con battle was over "the cube," a metallic and encryption-based thing (excuse the technical jargon) called the All Spark that held great power and pixilated from big to small in some very cool ways. This time, the thing at the center of the conflict is "the matrix," which could lead you to think some of the hard edges of Cybertron's fighting forces might morph into smooth silvery sinews, but no such luck.

If anything, Bay, never one to bother with nuance, has packed even more wing nuts and wheels, rods and bolts, pressure plates and pilot bearings into these visually complex beings. Despite the millions it must take to construct them (even in CGI), they still have a junkyard, found-object look that has long entranced boys, filling toy boxes and Hasbro's bank accounts for years.

Though Sam's trying desperately to fade into the background of the college scene, it isn't really working out. There's that new blond Alice (Isabel Lucas) who's got him in her sights, the ominous warning from Optimus Prime in that deep, really convincing synthesized voice of his, that little mess of an unexplained "toxic spill" in Saigon that opens the movie and the massive metal carcass that's been dredged up from a thousand leagues under the sea. As is his lot in life, Sam is needed, the one person on Earth who can possibly beat the Decepticons to the matrix.

"Revenge" is strictly a man's world, really, a boom, boom, bang, bang fever dream of special effects. Yet in all this macho mayhem, it is LaBeouf's young Sam, slight of frame, sensitive and smart, who makes it all work.

Although there are female Autobots and Decepticons in the Transformer universe, they are rare and none make it into the movie, which is too bad because "Revenge" could sure use a woman's touch. The only significant female presence comes from Sam's slightly crazy mom (Julie White) and Fox, who despite wearing white skinny jeans as she stumbles across the desert and jumps through any number of crumbling buildings, manages to stay remarkably clean except for that fetching smudge on her cheek.

Machines and their machinations are clearly where the director's affections lie, leaving the emotional side of "Revenge" to flatline again and again. Still, the film, written by Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, is filled with enough of the familiar to likely satisfy many "Transformer" fans. John Turturro as the now disgraced Sector 7 agent is passing his days working in the family deli and gathering data on the Decepticons in his survivalist-style basement, and Josh Duhamel's Capt. Lennox is still heading his Special Forces troops. We've got big, bad Megatron in cahoots with the towering fearsomeness of the 10-story Devastator. Meanwhile, try as he might, Optimus Prime just can't keep things civil. Neither can Bay.

"Revenge" is in-your-face, ear-splitting and unrelenting. It's easy to walk away feeling like you've spent 2 1/2 hours in the mad, wild hydraulic embrace of a car compactor -- exhilarating or excruciating, depending on your point of view.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian ..a review

When was the last time you went to a museum.. you know the place where they keep "yesterday" for "tomorrow" to see. I bet on my shrunked butt that it was when you were still in primary school..(ohh..those innocent wide eyed children ?) And if you think much would have changed since then; dont worry atleast where National Museum is concerned "it is a museum piece of frozen antique itself"

Can someone who is close to the museum boys, tell them that a museum doesn't have to look like a haunted house which had been evacuavated by the devil himself. My niece and nephews almost fainted out of boredom when i took them there..and the youngest one threaten to jump out of a moving car if I ever mention the place.. again

Ohhh.. about the movie...

I dont like this movie.. Talking about bad sequels..nope Im not talking about Rosmah Mansor's sequel ( for those uninformed : Najib is Rosmah's second husband, so he is a sequel of some sort.)..ok i digress..

I loved the first one, I don't understand why directors follow up with a sequel of a great film with such mediocrity. I suppose they already have an audience hooked and intrigued so they think they dont have to try harder the second time around.

You know what. watching this movie reminds me of our Perak fiasco. The muzium ( Assembly House) is divided and on one side all the bad guys,(you know who they are as they likened themselves to Mandela and Gandhi) and the oppressed good guys are on the other side.

I felt like most of the characters were over acting and worst of all the jokes felt so predictable, obvious and forced. Punch line after punch line kept rolling and literally nobody in the theatre was laughing. (Now doesn't that wee bit too familiar).
I know the first one was great but don't waste your hard earned money on this one.

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak should apologise for what five previous Prime Ministers had not done in the 43 year history of the DAP – police raid on DAP Hqrs as if the DAP is a terrorist organization like Al Maunah.

Why has Najib, who had committed himself to an open and democratic premiership only seven weeks ago, allowed the police to go on a rampage to the extent of doing things which the previous five Prime Ministers had not allowed the police to do for 43 years – a police raid on DAP Hqrs as if the DAP is a terrorist organization like Al Maunah.

The question many are asking is whether with Najib as Prime Minister and Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein as Home Minister, the cousins are taking the country quickly down the slippery slope of a police state, where the rule of law and human rights are trampled upon indiscriminately without any compunction.

My take : Police should not be overzealous in handling things like this. I hope they use their resources, time and talent to hunt down snatch thieves and mat rempits.. instead catching people for holding candles and wearing certain colours.

BN pulled out of Penanti by election and that had reflected badly on Najib's ability to stand up for a good fight. Our wise and learned Prime Minister should state that by election of this nature is a waste of public fund. Why?

If one can remember this name "Dato Haji Abu Hassan" then he/she will be able to recall what the powerful BN did in Kuala Selangor to make him as the menteri besar of Selangor.

Yes, they asked him to resign his MP post and another adun had to do the same so that by election can held to make him as menteri besar..

Manchester United won the Premier League for the third straight season Saturday after a 0-0 tie with Arsenal.

United needed a point to clinch a record-equaling 18th title. The draw at Old Trafford put the championship out of reach for second-place Liverpool, which is seven points behind with two games left.

“Thankfully, we got the job done today,” striker Wayne Rooney said. “The last few years have been unbelievable.”

United has won 11 Premier League titles in the last 17 seasons under manager Alex Ferguson and is tied with Liverpool with 18 on the list of English league champions.

“I never thought we could get 11 titles—never in a million years,” Ferguson said.
After a lackluster game, the final whistle set off a massive celebration. The team was presented with the Premier League trophy on the field, with the players hugging and spraying champagne.

Star Trek..review

This new edition is an operetic rediscovery of the formula that made the original Star Trek such a success. Only better, faster, smarter, and even more entertaining than the original.

You already know most of the plot: Kirk and Spock save the Federation from an uncompromising villain, with the help of Uhuru, Scotty, and Bones. This time around, the characters are better acted and better directed than in prior series or movies.

Eric Bana plays the villain Nero (lovely historical reference!) -- though he is given the thinnest psychological excuse for his mayhem. Bana has had some great roles in the past, but is given little room to show off his talent here. No matter, the "Federation" team more than makes up for Nero's limited character development.

What you don't know is how Kirk, Spock, and the gang get to be on the Enterprise. In this version, the time/space continuum is skewered, requiring a whole new "history" to be created. This plot device allows a far more interesting storyline to develop.

The effects are out of this world -- excuse the pun. The combat in space scenes are superb. I believe superior to any prior Star Trek or even any Star Wars production. Michael Bay who is directing Transformers 2 got to beat this milestone achieved by Star Trek.

My criticism is minor. I could go for a less "Hollywood" soundtrack (why is there ochestral accompanyment in space??), although there were several great sequences when the sound (appropriately) went dead as the scene went into space. And the scenes with Leaonard Nimoy as "old" Spock were plodding moments in the film. Give the guy a double espresso and reshoot!

All in all, a wild roller-coaster ride from start to finish which is wonderful escapist entertainment. It's a heroic fight between good and evil, carried out on a galactic scale. And since it's the movies, we do know who wins.

The best scene :

watch out for the little James Kirk jumping out of his car. and coolly ask the police officer if he is in trouble...he reminds me of James Dean.

Malaysia, The Centre Of Universe

When one listens to our leaders , he or she can be forgiven for assuming that Malaysia is the centre of this universe. Read this article by Jonathan Kent which appeared in Malaysiakini.

I refer to the Malaysiakini report There's a plot to topple PM: Rais.

Though I hold Foreign Affairs Minister Rais Yatim in considerable esteem, I feel bound to disabuse him of the notion that there is an international media conspiracy to topple the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

I must point out the sad but unavoidable fact that almost nobody in the international media gives a fig for Malaysia.

Having reported for more than five years on the country, I know from bitter experience that it was a constant battle to interest any editor in the place.

The idea that they have either the time or the interest to plot anything other than a beach holiday in Malaysia is, I am afraid, misguided.

There is a market for funny Malaysian animal stories - so photos of a python dying after eating too many goats will find a market along with a couple of lines of copy.

Important Malaysians who should know better saying silly things also gets attention and a few laughs.

However, as far as everyday news about Malaysia is concerned I am afraid that the only real foreign market is Singapore - and Singaporeans are only interested because very little that could be called newsworthy happens in Singapore.

If Najib is attracting unwanted international media attention it is probably because it is really rather unusual for a head of government to find himself linked to the brutal murder of an attractive young woman or to huge and questionable commission payments for the purchase of armaments.

In the absence of hard facts, the story there is in large measure not so much Najib's guilt or innocence, something which few international journalists feel qualified to judge, but the fact that so many Malaysians seem to be disposed to believe the heinous allegations leveled at their prime minister.

That, in turn, is in no small part a reflection of the fact that there is now no institution in Malaysia sufficiently independent, impartial and respected to authoritatively clear Najib's name.

That is a tragedy both for Najib and for Malaysia

Hey guys, do I have to tell Who is this..?

Many had asked me, why i have been quiet for some time.. Well, it is very dificult to write when one is laughing and rolling on the floor..with tears of insane humour enveloping the eyes.. .."So many tangles in life are ultimately hopeless that we have no appropriate sword other than laughter" thats what Gordon W. Allport said.

I was hysterically in laughter..imagining our beloved Datuk Seri Najib, taking over from Sleeping beauty Badawi.. Then when the actuall take over came..I burst into a avalanche of laughing fits... May be good old Najib farted nitrous oxide. According to wikipedia, laughter indicates merriment, satisfaction or derision and they should include that some people may laugh when there is a prospect of extreme heartbreak... or agony.

And to make matter worst.. Our much hyped (Thank you TV3 and RTM: this world will never see a better butt polishers than these) Mr PM had to come out with something so.. so..so.. funny. "One Malaysia"! Unless if you think that we still harbour the "divide" feeling of East Malaysia or West Malaysia.. you are singing the wrong lyrics for the wrong song again.

Or is it, you mispronounced the word. I guess he has dropped the letter "g". It should have been "gone" Malaysia, indicating "habis lah Malaysia"

..or is it "z"one, indicating Malaysia to become corruption zone, or is it "t"one Malaysia, which means they will use all the goverment agency to control and tone the people of Malaysia.

Pardon me sir, how dare you talk about One Malaysia when your party and its media arm, shamelessly ride on racial agendas. Your intelligence unit either misled you by telling that 90 % population of Malaysia are Blind and Deaf or simply stupid. Pardon me again, sir, the only stupid thing around now is ..a party which did not learn anything from the March 08 defeat or the consecutive by election defeats. You know which party it is, as you are leading it now.

Sir how can we attain one Malaysia when there is this coloum : race, in every application form handed out by the goverment. Why the "oneness" that you propagate, is not observed. Or is it, just a catchy motto for you to shout.

If that is the case..you can shout, you can scream or you can even sing... but dont take the rakyat for fools. As we know when you have your ways..its "d"one Malaysia.. as there wont be traces of justice in anything.. and you will strip it down to "b"one Malaysia where nothing will be left and then the country will end up "L"one Malaysia in the list of hopeless nation. Police force has improved, claims Suhakam

The Malaysian Police was on par with its counterpart from around the world untill it started to be loyal to politicians only instead of the people.

Imagine they closed all the roads leading to the Parliament House just to prevent Anuar and his supporters from being there.. Is this what they meant by improvement..

People go to police station and suddenly change their sworn affidavit and dissappear after that ,without a trace.. (P.I. Bala).. is this what they call improvement..

The crime rate has gone up by leaps and bound... is this what they call improvement... or the report below taken from Malaysiakini... shows how much the PDRM has improved..

OK..This is your catch..if the critic doesn't like it, it means its a great movie.. It was the day the cinema stood still right from the very first frame. At times you wont even wink.

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" is a remake of a cult hit . There isn't much here you won't remember from the 1951 classic, even if you haven't seen it. What everyone knows is that a spaceship lands on Earth, a passenger named Klaatu steps out and is shot, and then a big metal man named Gort (aiya..no underwear maa) walks out and has rays shooting from its eyes, and the Army opens fire.

That movie is at No. 202 in IMDb's top 250. Its message, timely for the nuclear age, is that mankind would be exterminated if we didn't stop killing one another. The message of the 2008 version is that we should have voted for Al Gore. This didn't require Klaatu and Gort. That's what I'm here for. The mission of the movie is to connect with the alien vision which holds the mankind as the destroyers of this life sustaining planet. If you come out away..thinking about our role in pollution ; even for a second, then the movie had achieved its objective.

The director did a wonderful job when it comes to action scenes and its pretty convincing. For me this is one of the great movies of the year with an important message.

Bukit Antarabangsa landslide disaster - urgent Parliament debate

Just four days to the 15th anniversary of the Highland Towers tragedy, disaster again struck early this morning in Bukit Antarabangsa when a landslide killed at least four people, seven missing, 15 injured, 14 bungalows destroyed and 4,000 people evacuated from the area.

Parliament, when it reconvenes on Wednesday, should have an urgent debate on why no lessons have been learnt from the 1993 Highland Towers Tragedy which claimed 48 lives when its Condominium Block 1 collapsed so as to prevent the recurrence of today’s tragedy.

I still remember vividly the harrowing presence of former Deputy Prime Minister, Tun Musa Hitam, when I visited the Highland Towers Condominium collapse site in Ulu Klang on the night of 11th December 1993, as he lost his son Rashid Carlos who together with his wife Rozita perished in the tragedy.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) should also initiate an urgent inquiry as to why the relevant government authorities have failed to learn past disasters and tragedies...( by YB Lim Kit Siang.)

Citizenship for Sabahans a right, not privilege

The Home Ministry has no power to grant or withdraw citizenship from Sabahans as that would contravene the Malaysia Agreement and the Federal Constitution, said Sepanggar MP Eric Majimbum.

"It is the law that determines whether a local Sabahan is a citizen and it has been agreed in the Malaysia Agreement and the Federal Constitution that all Sabahans are citizens," said Majimbum in a statement.

He was commenting on Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar's statement in The Star yesterday that he had directed the National Registration Department (NRD) to clearly state that permanent residency and citizenship were not rights but priviledges.

Syed Hamid also said his ministry had granted citizenship to Sino-Kadazan Yong Lee Hua @ Piang Lin, 78, because she was a 'genuine case'.

Yong was issued a red identification card meant for permanent residents after she lost her MyKad in February last year.

Only PR is a priviledge

Majimbum said that when Malaysia was formed in 1963, it was agreed upon that all Sabahans, native or otherwise, will automatically be made citizens.

He said that such provisions were explicitly laid down in the Malaysia Agreement and the amendments to the Federal Constitution.

Yong was therefore a citizen by operation of law, argued Majimbum.

'Therefore the question of the Home Minister "restoring" or "granting" her citizenship is therefore absolutely ridiculous as he has no power to grant or take away the citizenship of a person who is a citizen by operation of law," said Majimbum

Majimbum said that in the case of permanent residents, the minister was right in calling it a priviledge.

Yong's case drew an uproar after United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organasition (Upko) highlighted the matter to the press.

Upko had even threatened to review its position within Barisan Nasional should there be no revamp of the NRD.

The news of Malaysia’s foreign direct investment (FDI) outflow hitting a record high in 2007 comes at the heel of a series of depressing news on several fronts for Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. This was by no means healthy news for the economy, consumer confidence, and certainly the Abdullah regime, especially when you put our scenario within the context of the other nations in the Asean bloc.

With inflation having crept up to a 27 year high mark by hitting 8.5 percent in August, it sure seems like the overall economic picture has put the Abdullah regime even more precariously on its heels.

Of course while it might look like this is tantamount to adding salt to the wound, we cannot overlook the news that Malaysia slipped from 36th place in 2001 to 47th place in the 2008 Corruption Perception Index.

Now, surely you see the pattern emerging from these facts above, right? Yes, it’s not a pretty picture by any means. Not surprisingly, there are all kinds of convenient explanations and rationalisations one will uncover from the official government mouthpieces.

But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that those in the driver’s seat might as well have been asleep.

Anyway, as you well know, there has not been much for Abdullah to blow his horn on the political front either. Aside from the persistent pressure from Pakatan Rakyat to topple his regime, he’s had to repeatedly put out some rapidly spreading wildfires within Umno. Which of course brings us to this most recent ‘emergency meeting’ of the Umno cabal.

No matter how you cut it, one thing about politics is clear: when a supposed leader doesn’t deliver on his promises, he undermine himself. Typically, the eventual outcome is that ‘aspiring successors’ find ways to further consolidate their positions while leaving the wounded ‘leader’ to become even weaker.

The undeniable fact is that Abdullah could never seem to get his supposed reforms off the ground. Rather than breaking from the corroded regime that preceded him, he too became rusty by association. He and his regime became the very heart of what they promised to change. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of his competence, is it?

It’s not difficult to see how Abdullah allowed himself to get into such a bind, which eventually undermined his own position. Not only has he had to ‘cut a deal’ with his deputy, but we’ve now seen the timetable for his departure moved forward.

That’s what bad economic news can do; and when you have bad news as cited above flowing steadily on just about all fronts, it becomes next to impossible to expect your troops to stand by you.

Seeing a weakened and discredited leader’s political career collapse does not in any way guarantee that things will change for the better. In fact, I am convinced that as an ideologically bankrupt regime, Barisan Nasional cannot take us any further. It can only hold us back from advancing.

Nevertheless, while the country may not yet be ready to say goodbye to BN, I think we can indeed say goodbye to Abdullah.

Songs are many things. It could be just a piece of soothing music, a good companion, a loyal friend or a beautiful caring hands that wipe your worries away.

Every time I fell and hit the dirt in several pieces, this is the singer and his songs which nurse my wounds, heal the cracks and rejunevate my spirit.

There is one song in particular that "taps" on my shoulder and says "wake up boy.. you have got an ocean to conquer so dont cry over this cup of water. Nine years ago that was best anecdote for my pain, six years ago it was the magic wand that chasess away my blues and 3 years ago it was the "mystical glue" that kept me together and made me march forward..

Police stop march for Orang Asli rights

KUALA LUMPUR, Sat - Today marks the first anniversary of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2007.

What happened today, ironically, left us with very little wonder why the orang asal in this country have to continue to fight for their rights to exist. In conjunction with the anniversary, Jaringan Orang Asal SeMalaysia (“JAOS”) has organised exhibitions and workshops from 10 to 14 September 2008 at The Annexe, Central Market to increase awareness on the plight of the indigenous peoples in this country.

The height of the 4-day event is the ‘walk’ from Central Market to the Palace to present a memorandum on indigenous peoples’ rights to the King.

The organisers and representatives from various orang asal communities gathered at The Annexe, Central Market as early as 9.30 a.m. in anticipation of the walk. Everyone was in high spirits as participants put on their traditional costumes and carried musical instruments.

As they were getting ready to begin the walk, the participants sang the common orang asal song. Some were seen carrying placards with words such as ‘Jangan Ceroboh Kawasan Orang Asal’, ‘Kami Bukan “Dan Lain-Lain”’, and ‘Hentikan Eksploitasi Hak Kami’.

The map to the Palace was also distributed to everyone. After moving barely a few hundred metres from Central Market, the participants were stopped by the police. This appeared confusing as yesterday, the police confirmed with the organisers that they have approved the police permit for them to ‘walk’ to the Palace. Despite intense negotiations, the organisers failed to rationalise with the police to allow the walk to go on.

With deep disappointment, the organiser had to inform the participants to return to The Annexe. Some participants showed mild resistance, but being the civic minded lot they are, they obliged the police’s order and walked peacefully back to The Annexe. Along the way, at least one or two representatives of the orang asal were seen giving short interviews to the media protesting the police’s action to stop the ‘walk’.

Someone I knew was fuming over an acquaintance who passed some unsavoury remarks about her appearance... She has a point.

Guys; listen to this oldman. I have seen the Berlin wall going up and then came tumbling down. That means I have seen enough women to understand one thing. Don't get nasty with them as they are sensitive If you guys have to expostulate women's appearance, beware... don't even think of excoriating if you don't have the required skill.

We (men) must know how to play around with words. It means being diplomatic, courteous, polite, sarcastic and filmsily cunning . All at once. Isn't that what we are; slyful and adventurous animal with "noble intentions". (ka..ka.. opps my false teeth just fell out)

Lets look at the problem.. how do we tell women things that are need to be told.. There are rules and ways. Let me give you some examples.

NO:1 Anatomy never been easy. It can be sticky. For instance if you find a woman's boobs is way too large for her (its not her fault thou) don't say " your boobs are too big for you.."

Try saying: "You have a generous "heart" with massive space for intriguing beauty paid upfront handsomely.

True Meaning : Gosh... your boobs are are gigantic that I can even take shelter when it rains.

NO:2 When a woman puts up atrocious make up and looks like a scaredevil ( scarecrow is to chase crows, so you know what is a scaredevil)

Try saying : "You look mysteriously exotic" (In most restaurants .. all the terrible tasting things are known as "exotic")

True Meaning : "God almighty, did you ran away from a Chinese Opera with half make up on..."

Raja Petra arrested under ISA

Controversial blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin was arrested today under the Internal Security Act for allegedly being a threat to security, peace and public order.

According to Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar, the 58-year old father of five would be detained under Section 73(1) of the ISA, which allows for detention of up to 60 days.
“The police will do an assessment during this period and if they feel he should be held more than 60 days, the police will then refer to me,” Syed Hamid was quoted as saying by The Star.

The minister also confirmed that the Sin Chew Daily, The Sun and Suara Keadilan were issued show cause letters. "They have been given a week to reply," he added.
Raja Petra's wife Marina Lee Abdullah earlier told Malaysiakini that 10 police personnel from Bukit Aman came to their home in Sungai Buloh at about 1.10pm to arrest him.

When Malaysiakini contacted her at 1.25pm, the police personnel were still there. However, Raja Petra - popularly known by his initials RPK - was taken away to an unknown destination at 1.50pm. The police also confiscated a computer, some books and VCDs

In the mean while, Barisan Nasional Back-benchers’ Club (BNBBC) sent 41 of BN MP’s to Taiwan for a last-minute’s ’study tour’ today and are only scheduled to come back on September 17, in an attempt to fail the Sept 16 Pakatan Rakyat takeover of the federal government.

The Pakatan Rakyat requires 30 Barisan Nasional MP's to crossover to form the next federal government.

A NEW DAWN is at sight for Malaysians.

Are they going to wait till 17th Sept or fly back home to make the day come true?

Albert Einstein once said: ‘Nationalism is the scourge of mankind.’

Strange that we begin our celebration of National Day with such a sentence but if you can examine this statement without the rose-tinged glasses, feverish flag-waving euphoria and the normal syrupy sentiments attached to the traditional festivities of the big day, you will see that it is indeed very true.

Nationalism, which to an uneducated mind says that ‘my country is better than yours’ and religion, which also to the uncultured and unimaginative mind says that ‘my God is better than yours’ have created far much more wars, bloodshed and hatred in this world that any other factor.

They have been used as tools of vendetta and weapons of submission by the leaders-that-be, be they political, religious or racial leaders. Historically almost every large scale war that has been fought has been over these two reasons.

Nations against nations, brothers against brothers. And for what this madness? A fleeting sense of triumph in a life span that does not go beyond 80 years?
In Malaysia, a microcosm of the world exists. Where different nationalities and religions exist side by side. And we have always been half-happy, in that uneasy truce where we barter something to gain something else.

But we have pulled through it and have emerged…not great, not triumphant, but okay only la. But what saddens us, and troubles us deeply is that Malaysia is capable of greatness – immense and gargantuan greatness.

Because her people are actually her greatest strength. Having withstood the many tests of race, religion and governance , we still stand united. But we could be more, so much more.
We hurt because as Kipling says, ‘We can’t bear to see the truth that one speaks, twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools’.

We dare to dream of a day, when we can see each other clearly without the dirt of bigotry blurring the lenses of our vision. Of a day when we can reach out and touch each other without fearing that we will be classified as not belonging here or there or wherever.
Of a day when we can speak as one and not many different voices. Of a day when we are equal under God’s bright blue skies, where we all can hold our heads up with pride and say with our hands on our hearts, ‘We are Malaysians. Not Malay, Not Chinese, Not Indian, Not Lain-lain, but just Malaysians’.

We are not each other’s enemies, we are each others pillars of strength. We learn from each other, we lean on each other and we live our lives collectively as a nation moving in tandem, growing in comfort and prosperity. That is what real nationalism should be about.
To be proud of your country and nurture her, but at the same time, understand that we share this world with others and we need to play an effective role in trade, communications and friendship with all other nations, shrugging off the yoke of apathy, ill-will and distrust that we harbour with any or all nations, regardless of race, religion and political leanings.
Politics is merely a governance of a country, religion is merely a governance of a need to reach an inner peace and race is merely geography and genetics.

What is of ultimate importance is that we learn to govern ourselves – to train our minds to seek intelligent answers everywhere, to understand that living and loving can transcend to more than just our immediate families and to believe that true freedom comes with the emancipation of our mind from the shackles of racism, nationalism and religion and see each and every one of us as a friend, father, brother, mother, sister and child.

Then only are we truly free and on the day that we celebrate Merdeka as one people, we can smile in pride and repeat after Martin Luther King , ‘Free at last, free at last, oh my god, freedom at last!’
Here’s hoping for a dawn of a brave new wondrous era for all us Malaysians.

A jubilant mood all over Permatang Pauh.

The poor are proud that Anwar has made it. Pak Din, a farmer said, “Biarlah Anwar tak beri saya apa-apa. Saya kesihan kat depa. Teruk sangat orang kutuk kat depa. Saya sekeluarga undi depa.”

I talked to an Indian man in his late 30s, introducing himself as Rama. He declared in Malay, “Dia orang mau kasi malu sama itu Anwar Brahim. TV kasi malu. Video kasi malu. Cakap orang besar pun mau kasi malu sama dia. Apa ini politik ka? Itu pasal saya kasi undi sama Anwar. Dia orang baik. Mau tolong sama kita.”

I met a Chinese who introduced himself as Uncle Leong. His immediate reaction to Anwar’s victory was, “Kita semua sudah kata, ini Anwar mesti menang punya. Olang BN manyak kacau. Tadak malu lo. Apa ini cakap-cakap bikin ini macam.

Anwar bukan olang macam itu lo. Dia manyak baik. Ini BN tak boleh kasi menang. Kita mesti mau itu Anwar jadi perdana menteri. Dia manyak pandai punya orang. Ini budak apa itu cakap itu macam. Dia tada maluka. Dia punya ayah pun tada maluka? Kasi malu itu orang Melayu.”

Yes, with all the machinery BN had – the TV, the newsprint, the money, the swearing, prominent spokesmen including top government officials to counter Anwar – they still lost. The people want a change.

BN’s 51 years at the helm, they feel is enough. People are now united as Malaysians. They are no more talking about racial matters. It’s the oneness they want now.
Said a foreigner from Australia at this vicinity, “It’s Anwar against the whole government machinery and yet Anwar won with a comfortable majority.

Anwar is charismatic, intelligent and is one of the best leaders Malaysia has. Next to Mahathir is Anwar. Only Anwar can bring Malaysia to the forefront in the next decade like what Mahathir did. Malaysians should give him the chance to lead the country. It would be a lost to the country if this man is suppressed for whatever reason.”

9.50pm: Official EC tally - Anwar Ibrahim got 31,195 votes, Arif Shah Omar Shah, 15,524, Hanafi Hamat, 92. Anwar won with a majority of 15,671.

Anwar's wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, won the seat with a 13,398 majority at the March 8 general election.The official voter turnout was 81.01 percent. There were 58,459 registered voters. The final voter turnout figure was much higher than what the EC had stated earlier today.

There were 447 spoilt votes and 98 unreturned ballot papers.

The turnout today is slightly higher than March 8.

Meanwhile, outside the main counting centre Tuanku Bainun Teaching Institute, thousands of jubilant PKR supporters had gathered to embrace their leader's return to Parliament.PKR vice-president Azmin Ali was there to address the crowd numbering some 10,000. Other party leaders like R Sivarasa and Tian Chua were also there.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang and PAS' Husam Musa were also there.Anwar also addressed the ecstatic group of supporters, thanking voters for their support.

"I thank God who has been with me through this gruelling election process. I thank the voters," Anwar said as he arrived at the counting centre where some 10,000 supporters were holding a wild celebration.
"The message is clear... we have made a demand for change, for freedom and for justice," he said. "The people do not want to be exploited. We want an economic order that protects all the people."

Hundreds of riot police stood guard and a helicopter hovered overhead as the crowd gathered on a field outside the building, chanting "Putrajaya! Putrajaya!" - the name of the administrative capital and the seat of government."This is a clear indication that people of all races have rejected the communal politics of Barisan Nasional. It is a clear endorsement of our reform agenda. We are on track to take over the government," said Anwar.

Tian said that the overwhelming victory showed that "the prime minister's racial politics is bankrupt".
The EC made the official announcement at 10.05pm. Only Anwar and Hanafi were present at the announcement. Also present was Wan Azizah.

Hanafi, who was gracious in his embarrassing defeat, said he was not disheartened by the lack of votes for him as he has succeeded in his aims to promote his little known party. He lost his deposit with the low votes he garnered.

Protesters stop Bar's 'conversion' forum

The online newsportal Malaysiakini.com , reported that more than 300 protesters mostly from Muslim NGO's showed their displeasure at the Conversion To Islam forum as they feel it is a platform for Islam Bashing.

Now who is really bashing the image of Islam, the Bar Council or the protesters. Please don't give the world a message that potrays Islam as intolerant.

Interestingly the forum was moderated by Zarizana Abd Aziz among the speakers are Syariah Lawyer Mohd Hanif Katrif Abdulah representing FT Religous Council...

Just can't understand what is all the fuss when the objective of the forum is to high light and study the problems that arise from a conversion and seek suitable remedy for it. Wouldn't it do more good to Islam, if Muslims can allow discussions to chart a "peaceful" and "non agrresion" path towards conversion. Why oppose it? No wonder only 300 people took part and the rest didn't. May be most of my muslim brothers and sisters believe in muzakarah and muqabalah in determining this sort of matters..

To Rule Out (tro) or not..

The good doctor had made his stand in his SD. I am not learned in this arena... but from the simple English I know, I comprehend that "to rule out" can either be "yet" or "had". Reading the subsequent literary production on the doctors part cast shadows on "yet" and fortify "had" as he goes on to compund the "strands" in the above piece of document. The question that bogs me is "if there was any "forceful" or "pleasurely" penetration, wouldn't that been evident to the trained medical eyes of the doctor... aiiyaaa.. apek..still (more than ever) feel that fella Saiful making up stories maaa..

Hospital Pusrawi made an attempt through a press statement to negate its own medical report that shows no sodomy on Saiful (Anwar’s aide). However, its repeatedly contradictory and evasive answers to probing questions from reporters during the press conference clearly revealed that the hospital was merely putting up a show to hide the truth.

In the press conference on July 30, the hospital’s general manager Wan Mahmood Wan Yaacob (accompanied by the hospital’s medical director Kamaruddin Ahmad) denied the Saiful medical report related to sodomy, considered the examining doctor as unqualified to examine for sodomy, and even cast doubt on the authenticity of the Saiful report that is in wide circulation. He made all these assertions despite overwhelming evidences to the contrary.

However, under unrelenting questioning, Wan Mahmood admitted that the report in circulation “looks the same, contents are the same” as the original report. Then why did the hospital go into the redundant measure of setting up a three-men committee to probe into the authenticity of the circulating report - which bears all the hallmarks of typical Barisan Nasional tactic to delay and prevent the truth from emerging?

Dr. Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid who examined Saiful Bukhari Azlan at 2.00 pm on June 28 clearly stated in his report on Saiful that the patient had no bleeding, tear or scar in the rectal/anal area and that he appeared “alert, comfortable, not pale”. Under the heading “diagnosis”, Dr. Osman wrote: TRO Assault (Sodomy) (TRO stands for ‘to rule out’). It means Dr. Osman ruled out sodomy. Under the heading “rawatan” (treatment), Dr. Osman wrote: Advise to go to the government hospital (plan to do police report). It means that the doctor asked Saiful to go to a government hospital for a check-up as required by law, since he was going to make a police report.

This medical report, though brief, is a true record that Dr. Osman had examined Saiful and found no physical evidence of sodomy. Such a report could preclude subsequent medical finding to the contrary, considering that, four hours after Dr. Osman’s examination, Saiful visited Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) where he made a police report and subjected himself to another medical examination, the contents of which are now being zealously guarded by the police.

With regards to Dr. Osman’s competence, both Wan Mahmood and Kamaruddin said they “had no doubt on Mohamed’s credibility as a doctor” and further commented, “He was a good doctor”. With such an appraisal, it is puzzling how Dr. Osman, who is 56 years old and has twenty years of medical experience, could be considered as unfit to carry out a simple examination on a sodomy assault. In fact, Dr. Osman’s report is not only relevant in the court of law, it is also invaluable to the police engaged in their preliminary investigation on the veracity of this sodomy allegation.

Now, any first year law student will tell you, "innocent untill proven guilty ( beyond reasonable doubt)". At this juncture; be it fourth year medical students or old ah peks like me can't help but smell fish about the way police, and AG team behaving. What is their nature of work exactly? To prove someone guilty at any cost or to secure the truth at any lenght no matter what came in their way. If truth is what they are looking then they should be more balanced in their approach. They should have avoided balaclavas, special briefing by the home ministry to foreign diplomats or the Boria of ministers asking for Annuar's DNA. Why they didn't do the same to Rosmah bini Najib.

Didn't I Tell You....

You see, they asked a certain doctor from a certain hospital to conduct an examination on Saiful. The doctor did so and he came out with a report that said there is no evidence Anwar had ever penetrated or sodomised the young man.

The police then picked up the doctor and detained him for three days. As much as they tried to force him to change his report to implicate Anwar he refused to do so.Until today, the doctor stands by his report that there is no evidence Anwar had sodomised Saiful.

He knows he is going to be made to pay for this but he doesn’t care. He is not going to change his report and say that Anwar sodomised Saiful whatever they do to him. Exasperated, the police had to release Anwar on personal bond or police bail.

The doctor refuses to doctor his report and neither does Anwar want to volunteer his new specimen.Well, that doctor’s name is Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid from the Hospital Pusrawi and he has now taken his entire family and has gone into hiding because the police are looking for him and they want him to change his medical report.

At 2.00pm on 28 June 2008, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan went to see Dr Mohamed Osman to complain about a pain he is suffering in his anus. Saiful told the doctor that he had been assaulted by ‘a very important person’ -- meaning, of course, sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.Dr Mohamed Osman examined Saiful but found no evidence that he had been sodomised, either by Anwar Ibrahim or anyone else for that matter.

The doctor’s report (which can be viewed above) says that there is zero (0) skin tearing, zero (0) active bleeding, zero (0) traces of pus, etc., which basically means he can’t be suffering from a pain in the anus as what he alleges.The doctor’s diagnosis is that he rules out or TRO (to rule out) assault (sodomised).

In short: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan is not suffering any pain in the anus and neither was he assaulted or sodomised in the anus.Saiful then said he would like to make a police report so Dr Mohamed Osman suggested he go for a second medical examination at a government hospital. Saiful did so and the doctor at the government hospital also came out with the same diagnosis. Nevertheless, Saiful still made his police report at the pondok police in the hospital.

Now, my fellow Malaysians didn't I tell you... that I believe Anwar is innocent

The Darkest Knight..

" The oft-mentioned violence is not of one of gore, he says, but more of the heart—and thus potentially more terrifying. "The main thing is that it is a very dark movie,"

said Chuck Kim a film visual designer. So whats your take? Is it bad or good to let your child to see this comic book adaptation.

Some comments:

"'Dark Knight' is a staggeringly violent and disturbing film. Thought-provoking for adults, but potentially terrifying for children," says Jeffrey Weiss of The Dallas Morning News. "The PG-13 rating should offer some warning, yes. But this film dances just south of an R in my book."

"This film is not for children, and I would discourage parents from taking anyone under 12 to see this movie," writes Jim Pappas of The Trades.com. “'The Dark Knight' offers a glimpse into the darker places within each of us, which might be cathartic for some, but others will simply be afraid."
"The movie is sadistic, violent, disturbing and also one of the best and biggest movies of the year," according to MoviesOnline.ca. "That all said, 3 out of 4 of those components are absolutely not suitable for young children... regardless of how the MPAA rated the movie."

Ultimately, the "Dark Knight" decision depends upon you, your children and your relationships with them. There are children at age 14 (and I was one) who would be deeply troubled by the darkness of the film. And there are children of 10 who could not only face down the terror but even discuss some of the film's layered themes.

In all cases, we suggest talking with your children about "The Dark Knight." Be sure they understand that it is not a typical comic book movie and that it is intended for grown-ups. And should you permit them to see the film, we strongly recommend discussing it afterwards; our Common Sense Media review has some excellent starting points.

Why I believe Anwar Is Innocent

K. Bing made this interesting observation and now... read on.

First of all, I must say that I do not possess any information which is not already public knowledge. However, I have been following news of the new sodomy allegation against Anwar closely and I’m analysing this from the perspective of ‘reasonable behaviour’ and ‘balance of probability.’ Here are the reasons why I think Anwar is not guilty.

1. Is Anwar gay? A person who has fathered six children has established his sexual orientation firmly. Bisexuality is very rare and in any case he does not fit the mould. He has a loving family and his wife is standing steadfastly by him which says a lot.

2. The highly controversial sodomy conviction of 1998 failed to convince most people. A person in a position of power who allegedly cannot control himself to even keep away from his wife’s driver, must have a string of partners. One must ask, why has nobody else come out of the woodwork? Why was it necessary to coerce false confessions from two of his associates?

3. A person on the cusp of attaining political power would not be so stupid as to risk everything. If indeed one assumes that he cannot control his urge, where are the others that he may have violated or other consensual partners? With multiple partners, it’s a secret which is almost impossible to keep for a public figure.

4. Anwar’s anger and outrage at the new allegation is exactly how a wronged person will react. His body language when he speaks of the issue is consistent with his words.

5. When news broke of the police report against him, Anwar took refuge at the Turkish embassy. I believe he did so as he feared immediate arrest and not so much a threat on his life. This shows that Anwar believes there is a conspiracy against him rather than a private complaint which would not warrant immediate arrest. A guilty person would immediately assume it’s a private complaint.

6. Saiful’s resignation e-mail to Anwar did not suggest he had been sodomised and traumatised by his boss. This e-mail has not been denied by him.

7. The notion that a 61-year-old man can force himself on a 23-year-old youth is unthinkable. If threats were used, what can Anwar possibly threaten him with as he is not in a position of power?
Is there a conspiracy against Anwar? I believe there is for the following reasons.

1. The accuser, Saiful was obviously closely connected with Umno and has been photographed with a few Umno leaders including an aide to the deputy prime minister.

2. Saiful is obviously pro-Umno as had been revealed by his online postings. Why then did he induct himself into PKR as a volunteer if not for some ulterior motive?

3. His visit to the DPM’s office a few months before the incident was explained as him having gone there to apply for a scholarship. This is a very awkward explanation. As a college dropout, Saiful was not in the market for a scholarship and in any case, the DPM’s office is the wrong department to go.

And why would a scholarship applicant have his photograph taken with a senior aide? One must ask, why is it necessary to obfuscate and conceal the real purpose of his visit?

4. Najib at first denied he had ever met Saiful and later admitted that he met Saiful at his residence when a traumatised and sodomised Saiful came to ask for his advice. Why did Najib first deny and then admit later when under pressure? Was he trying to conceal something?

5. Najib said he listened to Saiful’s story and told him it’s up to him whether he wants to lodge a police report or not. This is not credible. Wouldn’t Najib have jumped at the opportunity to discredit his political nemesis and insist that Saiful make a police report?
It is wrong for anybody - much less a minister - who has been told a crime not to bring it to the attention of the law enforcement agencies. Why is Najib giving unbelievable explanations? Is he trying to divert all thoughts away from a conspiracy and overdoing it?

6. Najib said that Saiful visited him a few days before he made his police report. The report was made on Saturday and the sodomy was alleged to have occurred on Thursday. This means Saiful could only have visited Najib on Friday, one day before he made his report.
This is stretching the definition of ‘a few days’ to breaking point. Establishing when the meeting actually took place will shed light on the veracity of the allegation.

7. How easy is it for an ordinary person to drop in and see the DPM at his residence or office on such short notice? If he has been sexually violated, there is no need to hawk his allegation to politicians first before going to the police.

8. Saiful’s smiling and confident demeanor when he emerged a few days after his police report certainly does not indicate a man who has been sodomised and traumatised.

9. Saiful’s public challenge to Anwar to swear his innocence on the Quran is unbecoming of a real victim who would be expected to feel depressed and keep a low profile rather than play politics.

To round it up, let me deal with some objections.

1. It is too outrageous to imagine that Umno would weave a sodomy conspiracy against Anwar again as nobody would believe it.

Do you think negative public opinion will stop them? Umno controls the AG’s chambers, the police, the judiciary all of which are sufficient to convict a man of trumped-up charges. For good measure, they also control the mainstream press.

2. The allegations will increase sympathy for Anwar so a conspiracy is unlikely.

On the contrary, it could well discredit Anwar. The tactic could backfire but it is not beyond politicians to miscalculate the effects of their action.

3. Anwar stands to gain the most from it so Anwar must have planned all this.

Isn’t this even more outrageous than the above? No need to waste words on this.

4. Why sodomy again? Isn’t the script 10 years old?

What else can they pin on Anwar? He is not outwardly corrupt. A legal conviction is the most efficient way to get Anwar out of the political scene for good. After serving the sentence, he will have to wait another five years before running for public office by which time he may be too old to have any political ambition.

5. It is too transparent as Saiful has been photographed with high-level Umno politicians.

The plot may have been hatched after all those photographs. We have to be realistic, there are not many candidates who would do this.

6. Why did PKR take in a person without background checks?

He volunteered at a time when PKR was desperately short of staff. Once in, a person is not easily dislodged even when his previous pro-Umno leaning is known. There’s always the notion of fair play and judging a person by his work rather than his past.

In conclusion, when events really happen, details automatically fall into place. When there’s nothing to hide, explanations do not create more questions. A person’s demeanour and facial expression is a reflection of his inner thoughts.

All the bits and pieces collected together can create a complete picture. The picture is not complete but it is complete enough for me to decide that on the balance of probabilities, the incident never happened and Anwar is again facing another political conspiracy.

Joker Stole The Limelight From Batman

The acting is a huge highlight of this movie. Everyone knows all the speculation about Heath Ledger's death after playing the Joker, and even the speculation of him being chosen in the first place, but there's one thing that there should be no speculation about: his performance. He puts on the best acting performance I've seen in years.

To realize that this is the same man from A Knight's Tale puts the greatness of his performance into perspective. The Joker is an absolute psychopath. He has no inhibitions. He describes himself perfectly as "a dog chasing a car...[he] wouldn't know what to do when he caught it." He just chases the car.

That's the Joker in a nutshell. He has no plan in mind; he just does things. He looks disturbing, and he laughs when he feels pain. He is a very frightening villain who has no problem at all killing any random person, and who has no weakness. Life is one big joke to him...a joke where fear and chaos are the natural punch line. He makes things into little games that involve people's survival, that are put together with lies.

He has no problem seeing human suffering. This is the deepest I have seen anyone venture into the heart of pure insanity. It is frightening to see. Heath Ledger does an unbelievable job playing this character. He makes you laugh, but then turns right around and does something extremely sinister, which just leaves you in shock that a human being could do that.

After seeing it, there is nobody who could've played this role better. When his name came up in the credits, the whole theater broke out into cheers and applause. RIP Heath Ledger

The direction is fabulous. Nolan has given his finest performance ever. He pulled out all the stops and dove right into the heart of insanity. He also dives right into the source of revenge. His manifestations of the villains in this movie are excellent. He is a real master, and this is his masterpiece

Overall, this movie is breathtaking, and it is the best movie of the year. It was everything that I wanted and more. I highly recommend it but do not go see it expecting a lighthearted movie. As my friend said, "When the Joker appears on screen, you just feel about 50 pounds of weight thrown on top of you." It is an intense movie.

(NOTE: This is an email I received from a reader exposing the latest brain washing tricks deployed by UMNO’s apparatus called Biro Tatanegara(BTN). Mind you BTN is 100% funded by tax payer’s money)

Biro Tatanegara. Does it ring a bell? Government propaganda or honest student development programme? For those who aren’t aware of it, Biro Tatanegara or BTN for short is under the Jabatan Perdana Menteri and it has several modules which all public university students have to attend in the name of “Student Development”.

On the 6th of July 2008 in UiTM Shah Alam, there were three separate talks being held under BTN with the first one being titled “Pendidikan”, second one titled “Ancaman Keselamatan Negara” and the third one titled, “Patriotisma”. Smell anything funny yet? No? Read on. You won’t even have to smell it after you are done reading this. It’ll be stuffed down your throat.

I would like to only focus on the first speaker, Dr. Idris bin Md. Noor. He was supposed to talk about education as that was the title of his speech, but the content was far different. He first went on with the usual introductions but in less than a few minutes, he suddenly touched on the forum on the discussion of social contract in Malaysia that the BAR council organized.
He criticized it with all his heart, saying no one should discuss about it as it is unquestionable. Fair enough, I thought at first. Freedom of speech right? But what if he suddenly accuses the “Malay” speaker in the forum, which I’m guessing is Farish A. Noor, as a traitor to the Malay race as a whole?

And while he was browsing through his files on the laptop which was projected on the big screen, it was no surprise for me that I saw files entitled “Ketuanan Melayu”. He also then went on about the Malay’s obsession with magic and ghosts, he said that it is all wrong beliefs through the perspective of Islam because if they really could use magic and other dark arts for fighting, then they should kill Karpal Singh with it.

There are so many quotable sentences, if only I could remember it all. He even said, “Kalau ular dengan India depan mata, ketuk India dulu.” He then started to become more impassioned in his speech towards the end, like someone campaigning for a political seat yet failed, and resorted to a multi-purpose hall with bumiputra students. He said so many atrocious things that I will list them down in point form.

-Explained how the Malays aren’t racist but others are racist towards us.
-Bangsa Malaysia does not exist, neither does Malaysian Chinese and Indians, only in the strict Malay, Chinese and Indians. (Interestingly, behind a booklet provided to us, one of the objectives of the programme is to produce a -”Bangsa Malaysia”. Obviously, he was ignorant).

-Bahasa Malaysia does not exist, it is Bahasa Melayu.-Nothing wrong with waving the Keris.-Bumiputra hanya 55% di Malaysia, give birth more people!

-The University and Colleges Act was partly made to ensure a Malay Vice-Chancellor in Universities which should be the way.

-Blogs are “berdosa” or sinful.

-Christians will not like Muslims.

But that isn’t even the best part. The best part is, he showed a short film on the dangers of Zionism and the illegal occupation of Palestine which was probably the only part of the speech I agreed with and I thought to myself this could be the only fact of the speech but surprise, surprise, at the end of the film, there was a montage of so-called Zionist supporters with the pictures of Anwar Ibrahim, Tian Chua, Teresa Kok, Hishamuddin Rais and Ezam Md. Nor.

Then a question popped up in my head. Is Ezam still a Zionist supporter since he is in UMNO now? Does that mean the government has a Zionist supporter as well as the opposition? And expectedly, the speaker was being more anti-semitic than anti-zionist.

He even explained how the Pakatan Rakyat ruled states are all going down the drain and he says, “this is what you get if you vote for the opposition!” He criticized Anwar Ibrahim and his colleagues so much along with Pakatan Rakyat while being completely oblivious towards Barisan Nasional’s mistakes. As if they have perfect policies.

This was supposed to be a speech touching on education and look how it ended up. It did not even smell anything of education. It was a speech that was not meant for national unity at all. How could it be when you spread hate?
I could only sit and ponder quietly while all this was happening. But the speech was not the saddest part. The saddest part was that the majority of students in the hall were cheering him on. I will type out part of the lyrics that were supplied to us, entitled, “Warisan”.

Missing PI makes contact with nephew

Private investigator P Balasubramaniam has finally broken his silence and made contact with his nephew R Kumaresan late last night via a short telephone call.

"He said he was okay, but could not talk freely," Kumaresan (left), who stressed this point several times.Balasubramaniam, his wife and three children vanished without a trace last Friday following his retraction of a stunning statutory declaration which implicated Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak in the murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Kumaresan, who is said to be very close to Balasubramaniam's family, said that he managed to talk to the private eye's wife during the brief exchange, who also said that she was "okay".However, Kumaresan said that he was still unaware of the whereabouts of his uncle and was coy when asked about further details of the conversation.

"When I tried to ask of his whereabouts, he could not answer," said Kumaresan, who did not elaborate despite being pressed on the matter.Kumaresan was speaking to reporters after taking part in a candlelight vigil last night, organised by Hindraf in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

For about 20-minutes, some 40 individuals who took part in the gathering chanted "Where is Bala?", "We want Bala", "IGP, free Bala" and "Najib, don't hide Bala" among other slogans.Demonstration Two PKR MPs - S Manickavasagam and R Sivarasa - were also at the vigil to lend support to the gathering.

Sivarasa, who is also PKR vice-president, said his party was relieved that Balasubramaniam (right) had finally made contact with his family."At least, we know he is alive," he said.Manickavasagam said he holds the police responsible over Balasubramaniam's family and warned that the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) would organise a demonstration if the missing private eye is not found by this weekend.

The nephews of missing private investigator P. Balasubramaniam claimed today that their uncle had revealed to them months earlier all the details he had stated in his first statutory declaration (SD) which alleged that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had links with murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Brothers R.Kumaresan, 27, and Segar, 24, of Batu Caves said their uncle had shared with them about what he had mentioned in his first SD about six months earlier, and they believed he would one day make it public.
Kumaresan, an information technology (IT) professional said his uncle had expressed relief after he made his first statuatory declaration public on Thursday but what he did the next day by denying it had shocked the siblings.

Balasubramaniam who had made public his first SD on Thursday based on what political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda -- one of the accused in the Alatantuya murder case -- had told him, on Friday retracted his allegations via a second SD, claiming his first SD had been made under duress.

The brothers spoke to reporters at the Gombak district police headquarters with their lawyer R.Surendran yesterday after giving a statement to investigators over a police report he lodged on the disappearance of his uncle, aunt and three cousins on Saturday.
"He claimed he made the first SD under duress, but from the expression on his face on that day, it was clear that he was not, everyone could see that," said Kumaresan.

"But when he retracted the SD and replaced it with another the next day, the expression on his face showed that he was really under duress. Compare his face on the first day with the second day.
"We are very close to our uncle and know him very well. There is no way he would have disappeared like this without informing us first." he said adding that his family strongly believe Balasubramaniam and his family had not gone into hiding but are being detained at an unknown location.

Kumaresan said had his uncle planned to go into hiding or feared for his safety, he would have done so on the very first day, after making the first statuatory declaration."But everything was normal after he made the statement on Thursday; and then Friday he goes missing with his family." he said.
Kumaresan said he also had no idea of who M Arulampalam, the lawyer who accompanied his uncle when he made the second SD is.
"We are worried about their safety. My aunt is a like mother-figure to me. I do not even know if they are still alive." he said.
Segar, an engineer said his uncle had also handed him an envelope two days before he made his first SD and told him to pass it to Kumaresan.

"He told me to tell Kumarasen to open it two days later but after he made public his first SD, we opened it and found that it was a copy of the SD," he said.
Meanwhile lawyer R.Surendran said the main concern of Kumaresan and Segar was the safety of his uncle and his family and not the statutory declarations he had made.

"I hope the police will look more into the angle that Balasubramaniam may be held against his will, as it does not seem that he has gone into hiding." he added.

STATUTORY DECLARATION

I, Balasubramaniam a/l Perumal (NRIC NO: 600928-08-6235) a Malaysian Citizen of full age and residing at No. 32, Jalan Pelangi 1, Taman Pelangi, Rawang, Selangor do solemly and sincerely declare as follows :-

1. I have been a police officer with the Royal Malaysian Police Force having jointed as a constable in 1981 attached to the Police Field Force. I was then promoted to the rank of lance Corporal and finally resigned from the Police Force in 1998 when I was with the Special Branch.

2. I have been working as a free lance Private Investigator since I left the Police Force.

3. Sometime in June or July 2006, I was employed by Abdul Razak Baginda for a period of 10 days to look after him at his office at the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang between the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m each working day as apparently he was experiencing disturbances from a third party.

4. I resigned from this job after 2 ½ days as I was not receiving any proper instructions.

5. I was however re-employed by Abdul Razak Baginda on the 05-10-2006 as he had apparently received a harassing phone call from a Chinese man calling himself ASP Tan who had threatened him to pay his debts. I later found out this gentleman was in fact a private investigator called Ang who was employed by a Mongolian woman called Altantuya Shaaribuu.

6. Abdul Razak Baginda was concerned that a person by the name of Altantuya Shaaribuu, a Mongolian woman, was behind this threat and that she would be arriving in Malaysia very soon to try and contact him.

7. Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that he was concerned by this as he had been advised that Altantuya Shaaribuu had been given some powers by a Mongolian ‘bomoh’ and that he could never look her in the face because of this.

8. When I enquired as to who this Mongolian woman was, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that she was a friend of his who had been introduced to him by a VIP and who asked him to look after her financially.

9. I advised him to lodge a police report concerning the threatening phone call he had received from the Chinese man known as ASP Tan but he refused to do so as he informed me there were some high profile people involved.

10. Abdul Razak Baginda further told me that Altantuya Shaaribuu was a great liar and good in convincing people. She was supposed to have been very demanding financially and that he had even financed a property for her in Mongolia.

11. Abdul Razak Baginda then let me listen to some voice messages on his handphone asking him to pay what was due otherwise he would be harmed and his daughter harassed.

12. I was therefore supposed to protect his daughter Rowena as well.

13. On the 09.10.2006 I received a phone call from Abdul Razak Baginda at about 9.30 a.m. informing me that Altantuya was in his office and he wanted me there immediately. As I was in the midst of a surveillance, I sent my assistant Suras to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office and I followed a little later. Suras managed to control the situation and had persuaded Altantuya and her two friends to leave the premises. However Altantuya left a note written on some Hotel Malaya note paper, in English, asking Abdul Razak Baginda to call her on her handphone (number given) and wrote down her room number as well.

14. Altantuya had introduced herself to Suras as ‘Aminah’ and had informed Suras she was there to see her boyfriend Abdul Razak Baginda.

15. These 3 Mongolian girls however returned to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office at the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang again, the next day at about 12.00 noon. They did not enter the building but again informed Suras that they wanted to meet Aminah’s boyfriend, Abdul Razak Baginda.

16. On the 11.10.2006, Aminah returned to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office on her own and gave me a note to pass to him, which I did. Abdul Razak Baginda showed me the note which basically asked him to call her urgently.

17. I suggested to Abdul Razak Baginda that perhaps it may be wise to arrange for Aminah to be arrested if she harassed him further, but he declined as he felt she would have to return to Mongolia as soon as her cash ran out.

18. In the meantime I had arranged for Suras to perform surveillance on Hotel Malaya to monitor the movements of these 3 Mongolian girls, but they recognized him. Apparently they become friends with Suras after that and he ended up spending a few nights in their hotel room.

19. When Abdul Razak Baginda discovered Suras was becoming close to Aminah he asked me to pull him out from Hotel Malaya.

20. On the 14.10.2006, Aminah turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house in Damansara Heights when I was not there. Abdul Razak Baginda called me on my handphone to inform me of this so I rushed back to his house. As I arrived, I noticed Aminah outside the front gates shouting “Razak, bastard, come out from the house”. I tried to calm her down but couldn’t so I called the police who arrived in 2 patrol cars. I explained the situation to the police, who took her away to the Brickfields police station.

21. I followed the patrol cars to Brickfields police station in a taxi. I called Abdul Razak Baginda and his lawyer Dirren to lodge a police report but they refused.

22. When I was at the Brickfields police station, Aminah’s own Private Investigator, one Mr. Ang arrived and we had a discussion. I was told to deliver a demand to Abdul Razak Baginda for USD$500,000.00 and 3 tickets to Mongolia, apparently as commission owed to Aminah from a deal in Paris.

23. As Aminah had calmed down at this stage, a policewoman at the Brickfields police station advised me to leave and settle the matter amicably.

24. I duly informed Abdul Razak Baginda of the demands Aminah had made and told him I was disappointed that no one wanted to back me up in lodging a police report. We had a long discussion about the situation when I expressed a desire to pull out of this assignment.

25. During this discussion and in an attempt to persuade me to continue my employment with him, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that :-

25.1 He had been introduced to Aminah by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.

25.2 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.

25.3 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wanted Abdul Razak Baginda to look after Aminah as he did not want her to harass him since he was now the Deputy Prime Minister.

25.4 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had all been together at a dinner in Paris.

25.5 Aminah wanted money from him as she felt she was entitled to a USD$500,000.00 commission on a submarine deal she assisted with in Paris.

26. On the 19.10.2006, I arrived at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house in Damansara Heights to begin my night duty. I had parked my car outside as usual. I saw a yellow proton perdana taxi pass by with 3 ladies inside, one of whom was Aminah. The taxi did a U-turn and stopped in front of the house where these ladies rolled down the window and wished me ‘Happy Deepavali’. The taxi then left.

27. About 20 minutes later the taxi returned with only Aminah in it. She got out of the taxi and walked towards me and started talking to me. I sent an SMS to Abdul Razak Baginda informing him “Aminah was here”. I received an SMS from Razak instructing me “To delay her until my man comes”.

28. Whist I was talking to Aminah, she informed me of the following :-

28.1 That she met Abdul Razak Baginda in Singapore with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

28.2 That she had also met Abdul Razak Baginda and Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a dinner in Paris.

28.3 That she was promised a sum of USD$500,000.00 as commission for assisting in a Submarine deal in Paris.

28.4 That Abdul Razak Baginda had bought her a house in Mongolia but her brother had refinanced it and she needed money to redeem it.

28.5 That her mother was ill and she needed money to pay for her treatment.

28.6 That Abdul Razak Baginda had married her in Korea as her mother is Korean whilst her father was a Mongolian/Chinese mix.

28.7 That if I wouldn’t allow her to see Abdul Razak Baginda, would I be able to arrange for her to see Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

29. After talking to Aminah for about 15 minutes, a red proton aeroback arrived with a woman and two men. I now know the woman to be Lance Corporal Rohaniza and the men, Azilah Hadri and Sirul Azahar. They were all in plain clothes. Azilah walked towards me while the other two stayed in the car.

30. Azilah asked me whether the woman was Aminah and I said ‘Yes’. He then walked off and made a few calls on his handphone. After 10 minutes another vehicle, a blue proton saga, driven by a Malay man, passed by slowly. The drivers window had been wound down and the driver was looking at us.

31. Azilah then informed me they would be taking Aminah away. I informed Aminah they were arresting her. The other two persons then got out of the red proton and exchanged seats so that Lance Corporal Rohaniza and Aminah were in the back while the two men were in the front. They drove off and that is the last I ever saw of Aminah.

32. Abdul Razak Baginda was not at home when all this occurred.

33. After the 19.10.2006, I continued to work for Abdul Razak Baginda at his house in Damansara Heights from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 a.m. the next morning, as he had been receiving threatening text messages from a woman called ‘Amy’ who was apparently ‘Aminah’s’ cousin in Mongolia.

34. On the night of the 20.10.2006, both of Aminah’s girl friends turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house enquiring where Aminah was. I informed them she had been arrested the night before.

35. A couple of nights later, these two Mongolian girls, Mr. Ang and another Mongolian girl called ‘Amy’ turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house looking for Aminah as they appeared to be convinced she was being held in the house.

36. A commotion began so I called the police who arrived shortly thereafter in a patrol car. Another patrol car arrived a short while later in which was the investigating officer from the Dang Wangi Police Station who was in charge of the missing persons report lodged by one of the Mongolians girls, I believe was Amy.

37. I called Abdul Razak Baginda who was at home to inform him of the events taking place at his front gate. He then called DSP Musa Safri and called me back informing me that Musa Safri would be calling handphone and I was to pass the phone to the Inspector from Dang Wangi Police Station.

38. I then received a call on my handphone from Musa Safri and duly handed the phone to the Dang Wangi Inspector. The conversation lasted 3 – 4 minutes after which he told the girls to disperse and to go to see him the next day.

39. On or about the 24.10.2006, Abdul Razak Baginda instructed me to accompany him to the Brickfields police station as he had been advised to lodge a police report about the harassment he was receiving from these Mongolian girls.

40. Before this, Amy had sent me an SMS informing me she was going to Thailand to lodge a report with the Mongolian consulate there regarding Aminah’s disappearance. Apparently she had sent the same SMS to Abdul Razak Baginda. This is why he told me he had been advised to lodge a police report.

41. Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that DPS Musa Safri had introduced him to one DSP Idris, the head of the Criminal division, Brickfields police station, and that Idris had referred him to ASP Tonny.

42. When Abdul Razak Baginda had lodged his police report at Brickfields police station, in front of ASP Tonny, he was asked to make a statement but he refused as he said he was leaving for overseas. He did however promise to prepare a statement and hand ASP Tonny a thumb drive. I know that this was not done as ASP Tonny told me.

43. However ASP Tonny asked me the next day to provide my statement instead and so I did.

44. I stopped working for Abdul Razak Baginda on the 26.10.2006 as this was the day he left for Hong Kong on his own.

45. In mid November 2006, I received a phone call from ASP Tonny from the IPK Jalan Hang Tuah asking me to see him regarding Aminah’s case. When I arrived there I was immediately arrested under S.506 of the Penal Code for Criminal intimidation.

46. I was then placed in the lock up and remanded for 5 days. On the third day I was released on

police bail.

47. At the end of November 2006, the D9 department of the IPK sent a detective to my house to escort me to the IPK Jalan Hang Tuah. When I arrived, I was told I was being arrested under S.302 of the Penal Code for murder. I was put in the lock up and remanded for 7 days.

48. I was transported to Bukit Aman where I was interrogated and questioned about an SMS I had received from Abdul Razak Baginda on the 19.10.2006 which read “delay her until my man arrives”. They had apparently retrieved this message from Abdul Razak Baginda’s handphone.

49. They then proceeded to record my statement from 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. everyday for 7 consecutive days. I told them all I knew including everything Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had told me about their relationships with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak but when I came to sign my statement, these details had been left out.

50. I have given evidence in the trial of Azilah, Sirul and Abdul Razak Baginda at the Shah Alam High Court. The prosecutor did not ask me any questions in respect of Aminah’s relationship with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak or of the phone call I received from DSP Musa Safri, whom I believe was the ADC for Datuk Seri Najib Razak and/or his wife.

51. On the day Abdul Razak Baginda was arrested, I was with him at his lawyers office at 6.30 a.m. Abdul Razak Baginda informed us that he had sent Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak an SMS the evening before as he refused to believe he was to be arrested, but had not received a response.

52. Shortly thereafter, at about 7.30 a.m., Abdul Razak Baginda received an SMS from Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and showed, this message to both myself and his lawyer. This message read as follows :- “ I am seeing IGP at 11.00 a.m. today …… matter will be solved … be cool”.

53. I have been made to understand that Abdul Razak Baginda was arrested the same morning at his office in the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang.

54. The purpose of this Statutory declaration is to :-

54.1 State my disappointment at the standard of investigations conducted by the authorities into the circumstances surrounding the murder of Altantuya Shaaribuu.

54.2 Bring to the notice of the relevant authorities the strong possibility that there are individuals other than the 3 accused who must have played a role in the murder of Altantuya Shaaribuu.

54.3 Persuade the relevant authorities to reopen their investigations into this case immediately so that any fresh evidence may be presented to the Court prior to submissions at the end of the prosecutions case.

54.4 Emphasize the fact that having been a member of the Royal Malaysian Police Force for 17 years I am absolutely certain no police officer would shoot someone in the head and blow up their body without receiving specific instructions from their superiors first.

54.5. Express my concern that should the defence not be called in the said murder trial, the accused, Azilah and Sirul will not have to swear on oath and testify as to the instructions they received and from whom they were given.

55. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same be true and by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declaration Act 1960.

The notion that a 61-year old with a bad back can forcibly sodomise a strapping 23-year old is laughable. This is simply not the kind of thing that anyone, not even Anwar's harshest critic, is going to believe. Sauful Bukhary (in Blue) is the accuser.

Instead, people are going to conclude that it's a desperate, politically-motivated conspiracy.That this desperate move will backfire is already a foregone conclusion. The big question is who is behind this latest move to try to impugn Anwar's character with a tactic dating back to 1998?

I am curious. How did this alleged act of sodomy occur? Was the complainant held down by Anwar Ibrahim, or perhaps accomplices? What it done with the complainant’s consent, perhaps even at his suggestion? Perhaps he was drugged or beaten unconscious to facilitate the process?

These are questions that the police must ask in attempting to fully understand what it is that occurred, if anything occurred at all. This is more the case in view of the key elements of the sodomy investigation and prosecution in Anwar, Round 1, in particular the alleged confessions of Sukma Dharmawan and Munawer Anees which both claimed had been extracted by coercion. Similarly, the omni-present mattress and the almost magic DNA samples ought not be overlooked. This is underscored by Anwar Ibrahim’s insistence that his prosecution was politically motivated and had, for that purpose, been pre-judged.

Two days ago, when reporters press Najib for an answer on ( Nightline TV2) : "Project IC" he simply snubbed by saying "its a complex matter. Let us handle it". Well, do you need any better prove that Najib is as sincere as a Hollywood actress saying "ouchh" on her first night of the seventh marriage just to impress her seventh husband.

If the Sabahan so called leaders still think that the federal government is all out to address the woes and settle it once and for all, than they will think that American will leave the Iraqi soil tomorrow and never to return. Come on guys, Najib is lying thru his butt and you can see that in his eyes. Do you all think that they are dump enough to dig a hole, called "grave" and bury themselves.

The Federal Barisan will never let the oppurtunity to conquer Sabah disappear just like that. Just wait for three more years. Not many of you will get a seat to contest. By then the "new Sabahans" will occupy everything so that feds don't have to even look at your direction. If they are sincere, they would have announced a road map of doing so. Atleast they can say..that all foreigners holding mykad will be given a red IC which allow them to stay but not stray.

This is the time..to bite. Don't you guys miss it. That goes to the Sarawakians counterparts as well.

How stupid they can be..

Hannah Yeoh, the Subang Jaya assemblyman, has been banned from attending her school's prefects' reunion. She said her alma mater, SMK Subang Utama has been forced to withdraw the invitation presumably because she is from the Pakatan Rakyat.

Hannah said she has been told by the organisers that the event would be cancelled if she turn up. This is ridiculous. Surely, as the pride of her school, she's a natural choice as the guest of honour. If the Education Ministry wants to be sticky about this, then a directive that says no politics from guests should be issued.

That would be acceptable. Do they need the students to tell them what democracy is all about and the choice of the rakyat must be respected, no matter how painful it is to them? When the students hear about this stupid ruling, what would they be talking about in their school and their homes? There are already grumblings from PR elected representatives in other states, too.

What does this latest incident and all the other previous incidents tell all of us??? It tells us that we are ruled by a bunch of goonies who are sore losers. No pride, no dignity, no shame but worse of all, no brains! Yes, I am talking about all those BN goonies...

Film Review: Kung Fu Panda

Ohh what a show. I have always felt that Kung Fu movies( together with Tamil and Hindi movies) have cartoonish elements in it. So when they produce a cartoon out of Kung Fu, its largely forgiveable and mostly enjoyable.. Its a story of how Po (our Panda hero) saves his village from the ferocious villain Tai Long ( a snow leopard).

Remember this is a kid fare, so don't ask too many questions, such as how Panda's father is a Goose. The animation is simply superb as the Chinese landscape blends beautifully with the plot. Truth to be told; the action scenes will leave you carving for more.

Verdict : A superb movie for the kids and the kid in us.

Pak Laaah...pak lah...!

Wakakakakaka... ! Why am I laughing? Cause there is an Indian say ; "laugh when you approach crisis". Ini macam punya orang pun adakah? Just before the election with a puffy bread face and heavy eyelid he said he has not made up his mind on the date and the very next day he called for an election. Now after pointing to August for a fuel price hike, he suddenly announced the immediate hike.

Don't know what actually Pak Lah is doing. If he is doing something at all (sorry!! no sexual inferences here). One day he says something and the very next day he turns over and say a totally different thing.

The last time he incresed the fuel price he promised to use the money to improve public transport but see what we have now. Ita worst than ever. Fuel price hike can only mean one thing... Your actual income slashed. This is what Tun Dr Mahathir has to say :"I may be mistaken but there seems to be less vehicles on the road today. But obviously that is not all that will happen. All other consumer goods, services and luxury goods would increase in price.The cost of living must go up. Put another way there will be inflation and the standard of living will go down"

Tun Dr Mahathir continued : "The increase hurts but the pain is greater not just because of the increase percentage-wise is higher than in developed countries but because of the manner the increase is made.A few days ago the Government decided to ban sale of petrol to foreign cars. It flipped. Now foreign cars can buy again. Flopped.Knowing that in a few days it was going to raise the price and foreigners would be allowed to buy, why cannot the Government just wait instead of banning and unbanning."

There is something obiviously wrong with this Pak Lah regime. Either all of them are "bobalicones" (spanish for ninconpoops) or they think the rakyat are "engenas" (Portugese for fools). What ever these "распутники матери" (its russian and its really bad ) think they are, they are surely ruinning this country.

1. Spielberg is a genius, but his effort in this film was weak, rushed, and uninspired. Anyone who has studied filmmaking knows what I'm talking about.

2. The editing of the movie was not done with any true effort, passion, or creativity

3. The writing was subpar and the plot was confusing and ridiculous. I heard sarcastic yawns from the audience many times during the movie.

4. The special effects, by today's standards and Spielberg's standards, were cut-rate and boring.

5. The cast had no chemistry whatsoever. The characters were not developed, and thus I could not connect to them. The female antagonist failed to inspire any fear or loathing. The Karen Allen character was wasted and misused. Indy and his son had zero bonding chemistry.

6. The violence was too tame. "Raiders" had gritting visuals that send chills down your spine. This latest Indy film was very tame and had to work hard for the PG rating.

I will have to rent Raiders and get the bad taste out of my mouth.

So what can one say now. To all the Chelsea screamers who went back with their head (which head is this) between their legs.. sorry buddies... For Arsenal fans who wanted Chelsea to win so badly, and then went home with piss in their arse(nal); next time mates and for the Liverpool fans who wanted to see Man U crawl, keep looking guys.. for you may see your own team crawling all over.

Waahhh..what exciting time this is? Even the highest paid hollywood script writers cant churn out something this silly.. Did I say silly.. Well how you will call that. "I am leaving the house because he is in. Chase him out than I will come back". Hello smart ass.. its you who put him there and thats make you the biggest culprit.

Tun.. its true what they say.." when one gets very old (as old as Tun I guess) they become childish." True or not. One blogger wrote " It’s All Unfolding... Right In Front Of Our Eyes! " and he was definitely right as Tun never had any patriotic reason behind his decision. Just personal. If you want this country to be run in the way you wish then why you resigned.

You are oledi lah old maaa.. Even your own son is not listenening . Today he said want time to think.. Najib practically will leave his decision to his secondhand wife, Rosmah. Syaed Hamid is already sweating on his slippery head. Muhyiddin is already reading yasin. Aaahh. so umnoiiissh.

The Soccer Players

I was watching preschool kids playing soccer at their school ground this morning. It went like this : The cute (all of them are, for that matter) keeper of "Team A" kicked the ball directly to the nearest player who is the striker of "Team B". Instead of kicking the ball into "Goal A" he turned around and went towards his own goal (rasa terhutang budi kot kerana dapat bola).

Just few steps forwards, a "Team A" player ( his teamate) intercepted.. (or pushed, more like it) and took possession of the ball. And all ten players tirelessly ran all over the places... their aim : to kick the ball once; tak kisah lah arah mana, janji tendang.

Since they were going around and around for almost ten minutes, the keeper of "Team B" left his goal post and went off to the toilet. "When you goota go, you gotta go."right? The teacher frantically ran after the tiny goal keeper, calling his name. All present were in stiches, holding their stomach with tears in their eyes. I almost rolled on the grass with hysterical laughter. And the best part, "Team A" failed to score at the vacant "Team B "goal post. In fact they were too busy chasing the ball and never came near the goal post.

It was first class entertainment and wish our national team could be this entertaining. By the way, "Team B" won 2 - 0. (Both own goals) and I have to buy my nephew (the keeper who went to kencing, well thats my kerabat) a new watch. Kids these days.. :)

Iron Man a..preview

Aii...ya... When this old man was taken to the movie Ironman by my much much younger (girl) friends ( don't get jealous meiii) I was over joyed. Imaaagine being flanked and escorted by young sweet sweet things.. he..he.. All eyes on me maa.. Bahagia sekejap.

That is where the problem starts.. You begin to wish you have that suit ... hmm..hmm.. My naughty mind constantly strayed from the movie.. to think ; how if our beloved Pak Lah gets his hands on one of these suit. ( well Jean will be happy for sure he..he..)

Imagine, Pak Lah walking around with sleek futuristic suit that can blast (not c4 blast) any mortal enemy away. (I can see Najib scrambling for the Obadieh's prototype suit. it matches well as Obadieh and Najib sama botak.he..he..) Its also a good idea as no one can catch this "sleeping Beauty' (Pak Lah le) in action (tidurlah tu) or nobody can blame him for not listening as the suit almost has no ears (aaaiya it is also got no #$@# but thats no problem..Jean will tell you "why carry things that you dont intend to use???")

Seriously, they ought to come out with "Iron woman". But they don't have to go far looking for the prototype as our very own Iron lady (Nenek Rafidah lah) can play the part effortlessly. But what about the massive frontal "bump" and lavish hind "hump". Well I guess they have to come up with a design so that the bump can house rocket launcers and the" hump" is where the supersonic engine located.. What a roar will come out from rafidah's...$%#@. hah..never mind.She probably fart louder than that. (Sorry nenek.. old age like that maa).

It was interestingly frightening when the headline flashes " What have they done to RPK? ". Whats going in there is anybody's guess. We will have to wait for the whole story to unfold.

With our PDRM anything is possible. People can go to pieces, detainees sleep in "eternal peace" and even a DPM can get "black eye". So everybody worried when the PDRM officers told Mrs Raja Petra Kamarudin that RPK wishes not to meet anyone including his own wife. Really really fishy. But in a day or two truth will prevail.

Raja Petra charged with sedition over 9 paragraphs reads one.. followed by Save Raja Petra Campaign . Almost all major websites has stories such as this: Raja Petra Kamaruddin - the People's Hero . But above all this one is eye cathching.. Rakyat hairan, bagaimana begitu cepat Raja Petra didakwa .

Now we all know that Raja Petra is of royal family but he is down to earth and willing to go to jail for fighting to upkeep justice in this beloved country. Raja Petra is truly towering and true Putra of this soil. Long live Raja Petra

By then Razak’s counsel Wong Kian Kheong, who had left the court room earlier, returned upon been informed of his client’s outburst, and went straight into the lock-up.Wong refused to say what Razak’s outburst was about.Proceedings, meanwhile, were not disrupted.

Before the hearing began at 9:30 am, Razak Baginda's father had whispered something to him. This made Razak angry the whole day. Finally, about three hours later, Razak Baginda could not stand it any longer and exploded. What did he say? Reporter friends who were there said that Razak shouted again and again, "Matilah kau Pak Lah! Matilah Pak Lah! I am innocent! I am innocent!" Then he went into a mad rampage and kicked the chairs and doors in the courtroom.

Even the Judge was shocked and did not know what to do. Both the defense lawyers and the prosecution team were also all shocked. The story goes that Razak Baginda's father whispered instructions to his son to incriminate his former boss Najib Tun Razak. The instruction came from the Pak Lah camp. This was yet another deal they were trying to make - Razak Baginda's life for Najib's head. The story is that Najib is outshining Badawi in this coming general election. Najib may win big in Pahang but Pak Lah may win small or even lose his seat in Kepala Batas.

The Pak Lah camp may also suspect that Najib's people are working in the background to embarass Pak Lah in Kepala Batas. Hence the 'whisperings' through Razak Baginda's father. TheSun newspaper carried the story, complete with Razak Baginda's outburst. However, the Home Ministry asked The Sun to withdraw their first run which carried the 'Matilah Kau Pak Lah!' outburst by Razak Baginda. TheSun had to withdraw thousands of copies of their print run early this morning. Strange things are happening in the country, folks. No angels are involved. Only devils.

As for this old man, tak da api tak de asap. Just wondering... all this while when certain people accused Najib directly(aiiya.. no need to hide hide lah..its Anwar Ibrahim) the police was so quiet. But when Rosmah is implicated.. there were immidiate reactions and and Raja Petra was hauled up. Wonder if PDRM stands for Police Di Rosmah Mansor.

This lady must be truly amazing otherwise can't see any reason for Najib "buying"(tebus talak) her. But this lady seems to have a knack to get things done her way. If sebelum jadi "first lady of Malaysia"(although second hand for Najib) dia dah tunjuk belang macam ni..apa nak jadi ngan Malaysia selepas dia naik. hmmmm... "GOD" save our beloved country.
